Here's how to sync Libre Freestyle CGM data to Apple health.
First your Libre app that you use, needs to support LibreLinkUp app. You can see that under "Connected Apps" in your Libre App. If LibreLinkUp is not there, it won't work. If it is, this should work for all versions of the Libre Freestyle CGM sensor since the connection is being bridged through servers on the back end instead of through the Libre apps themselves.
You will need 2 additional apps:
IMPORTANT: I forgot to mention this in the video because, but Diabeto Log will need a subscription. There is a 1 week free trial and the price is currently $18.49/yr. Use the trial, get it working, and then if you want to keep it you will be charged.
1. Diabeto Log: apps.apple.com...
2. LibreLinkUp: apps.apple.com...
The video is kind of quick, but here's the general instructions:
1. Create an account with LibreLinkUp
2. Go to the Libre app you use for your CGM and invite the account you created for LibreLinkUp (you can use the same email for both)
3. Optionally, turn off any notices in LibreLinkUp for glucose readings and alarms as they are redundant with the Libre app you're using. This is not shown in the video, but just go to the settings in that app and you'll find them.
4. Download the Diabeto Log app. Allow it to sync to Apple Health. Go to settings, and under "External Devices" in the LibreLinkUp section, you will put in your LibreLinkUp username and password.
Once this is completed, when you scan your sensor with your Libre app, it will send data to LibreLinkUp, which in turn will be imported by Diabeto Log and then written to Apple Health and from there passed along to any other connected apps, assuming you have allowed those permissions.
