Fun Facts:
-Direct USB connection without the need for a SDR dongle/receiver.
-Any SDR software that allows access to a soundcard input should work. HDSDR, SDRSharp and SDR++ work. SDR Console has the least amount of latency.
-The IC-705 has 10 kHz of RX audio bandwidth with this arrangement. Unlike the 7300, changes to the mode and bandwidth settings in the 705 do not effect the IF output. The +/ - 10 kHz IF bandwidth remains constant. The 705's AGC control works. NR, ANF, MNF, NB and NR do not.
-Other radios with a USB IF output should work as well. I'm curious what the IC-7610 will do. I don't have one of those.
Corrections:
(USB Audio Codec) is the ID for both the IC-7300 and IC-705. If you have more than one radio installed, Windows will add the Microphone 1 and Microphone 2 etc... nomenclature in front.
NR and ANF controls in the 7300 do not work. MNF, AGC and NB do.
