Please help. How did you make the spline do that? I can't make mine like that
@vrafaeli

Thank you for this tutorial, it was elusive to find the Link To Spline option. I experimented a bit and found out the linking also works for paths from the Drawing tool, so it's not limited to spline only. Question though, how to make the object *not* rotate following the path? In Enve2d it has there is option to disable the rotating.

I had this problem too a while back - if you link your object to spline and then go to the bottom left and find transformation - expand that and right click "angle", then click disconnect. That should prevent it from rotating.

I tried, and yes it worked! Wouldn't think of it doing what I want with simply a term 'disconnect', haha. I find Enve despite barebone-looking interface to be more intuitive at many aspects. Mileage varies with people. Trying to use this Synfig for actual work is like walking down a rabbit hole. Thanks very much for the tip!

Hi, teacher, thank you for your perfect course, just I have a question, for example how can we make some effects like smoke, or flame or ... In Synfig studio?
@YOWKhemardi
2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you've been enjoying the videos. There are different ways that this can be done, but drawing the frames then tracing them over on Synfig is one way but doing them directly in Synfig would take some figuring out. So I guess the answer is not so easy . I'll make a note of this and when I can, I'll do Some tests to figure out somewhat of a speedy Synfig approach.

@@YOWKhemardi Excuse me, I have another question, what are Synfig studio plugins? Is there any plugins to make flames?
@YOWKhemardi

@@parisaesmaili8410 plugins are custom scripts that add additional features to Synfig. Anyone with programming knowledge can create one and no there is currently no plugin to create flames.

Hi, teacher, Excuse me sir, I have a question, when I am using the circle tool, it's quality is so bad!! For example while I animate the circle, both in preview and rendering, around the circle is full of pixel!! And the quality is low, Which adjustments are needed to solve this problem?
@YOWKhemardi

I'm not sure, also I don't know which version of synfig you as using but maybe check the properties f the circle to see is it has an anti-alias property as shown here: wiki.synfig.org/Antialiasing_Parameter#:~:text=The%20Antialiasing%20Parameter%20is%20a,shape%20is%20rendered%20more%20crisped.
