"I like to mimic guitar because it's the only way I can even try to be cool in a guitar dominated world." lol! So true. Whenever I'm playing with a band, I always have to adjust my playing style on the keyboard to suit guitars. Always. Guitars win at the end, I guess. 😂

You'll have to forgive my ignorance here, I'm not a keys player and I barely know enough about the instrument to do much besides basic chord shapes and scales. Is Izzo on a level y'all would consider to be exceptional? Or is this just what a good keyboardist plays/sounds like, and my experience with them is just lackluster?

Dude …. At minute 1 how do you do that technique where your after touch makes an octave up fade in …. I have a Korg Krome ex and for the life of me can’t figure out the work flow to do that ….. doesn’t matter what synth I have but like what is the ams for that … aftertouch usually modulated pitch , amp , or filter ….. are you modulating a limiter or somthing ?

I been learning the keyboard for 6 month. I switched to a weighted hammer action 2 weeks ago and I already got repetitive stress Injury in my left forearm and some left fingers. I'm thinking of quitting piano all together and using a none weighted synth action synthesizer. Is a synthesizer forgiving on bad keyboard hand techniques? I want to play long hours and just compose music without these injuries.

TCNG nope , its not the same .its not where you start the scale . Its all about the emphasis of the notes that makes the flavor of the mode in that case its the +4. You can start in any note you want and still its lydian .
