Haha. Thanks. I've yet to watch any Dr. Who aside from a few episodes of the original. There seem to be more versions of Dr. Who than Star Trek and so I've had trouble determining the best entry point. Where should a n00b begin?

@@urzathehappy72 Cool. Thanks for the tip. I'll start at the beginning. And that's where I originally started with Star Trek, too. Classic Shatner days. Though, my favorite is probably TNG.

I'm sorry I missed the premiere, because I wanted to ask if this took place in the prime universe or the Kelvin timeline, but I'm happy you kept it ambiguous. #LLAP
@Lightbath

Ha. Nice. 🖖 TNG is my main reference for Synth Trek so that puts us in Prime, yeah?
@RheyneMusic
3 жыл бұрын
@@Lightbath No doubt. Discovery season 3 mentions an officer who "crossed universes" wearing a TNG-era uniform (season 1/2 without the collar) originating from the Kelvin timeline, so there could still be some ambiguity to a hardcore fan. Looking forward to the next episode! This is helping to fill a void where Picard season 2 should be, so thank you for this.

The ø is pronounced more like the U in Budweiser, or how inspector Clouseau pronounce dog. Børk is a gud bøy.
@Lightbath

Oh, even better! So then Børk sounds less like Bork and more like Bark if Bark were 'buhrk', right?
@jonaseggen2230
3 жыл бұрын
@@Lightbath Yes! or just Burke as in Edmund Burke, and Edmund is a fine name for a dog. I can't remember for what brand, but I tried to read a manual where they had replaced every O with Ø. It was impossible for me to read even though it was in english because my brain could not translate Ø to O fast enough. That saying, I'm generally in favour of this silly practise in memes and comics etc as it sounds so funny when pronounced correctly, like the band Mötorhead sounds retarded in my ears. The Ø is the same as Ö, and why they have two different ways of writing this sound I have no idea. sömthing sømthing nationalism maybe?
@Lightbath
3 жыл бұрын
Wow. Thanks for the details. Admittedly, I had no idea what I was doing by using the ø. I was thinking more along the lines of Make Noise’s use of it as like a ‘null’ symbol.
