It's definitely unlv. Syracuse is considered the underdog by almost everyone

First off Kyle McCord will probably be the best passing quarterback SU has had in forever. They have really strong running backs in Allen and Willis. For once they seem to go deep and have a lot of talent at Wide Receiver/Tight End in Gadsden, Villari, Meeks, Haynes, Ross. So if Fran Brown retools the O-line & I think he will, they are going to score a lot of points. On the defensive side they have Diggs, Wax and Barron. Hard to tell how many games they will win, but they will definitely be better than previous years...

truthfully, it’s the “Oakland Raiders” WHO PLAY IN LAS VEGAS (giving proper respect to Oakland, California fans who have faithfully supported the Oakland Raiders franchise for many years - R.I.P. Al Davis (Syracuse alum) … Syracuse - Holy Cross (with due respect to Ben Schwartzwalder [R.I.P.], only Syracuse football coach to bring us a National Championship) was a perennial match-up … the 1973 game (5-3 Syracuse victory) was my Junior year at Syracuse - Go Orange - University … it was during 1973-74-75 (before The Big East Conference) when talks about an Eastern Conference (to compete against the A.C.C., the Big Ten, Big 12, etc.) the name for the Conference being considered was East Coast Athletic Conference [E.C.A.C.] … finally, in 1973 there was no talk about a Carrier Dome, so watching S.U. football was at the [cold] Archbald Stadium on those concrete seats.

The trend for Syracuse in the Dino Babers Era was we start fast then the injuries pile up and the lack of depth shows its ugly reality that Dino could not recruit at the acc level

I think it was more depth and health than just schedule. With a healthy Shrader they probably beat GT and BC. Not sure when he got hurt but he didn’t look healthy against VT or UNC either.
