This is Aramaic and is the very original prayer and was used long before there was a split between orthodox and Catholic Church. The closest language I heard to this is Assyrian and Chaldean dialects. I am a catholic but pray the Lord’s Prayer and Hail Mary in Aramaic although English is my first language. Very beautiful.

Why are you still catholic? Come back to orthodoxy please..the only right way showed to us by God who sacrificed Himself for us and for the Truth. Let us never apart from the Orthodoxy and dye as orthodox for the love of God's Truth and The Kingdom He prepared for us 🙏 if we were to understand God's wish... of course He wants us so much to be orthodoxs on our life on Earth. It has taken me 33 years to find how to reconcile with the other rites and churches, but now that I have, I'm so grateful God saved us! I love you brothers and sisters in Christ. I'm so sorry it took me so so so so long to find you 😭😭 I've been looking for you all my entire life, I knew there was more to Christianity, I had to follow the movements of the pope and see which churches and communities he was in communion with, which led me to the see of alexandria, and other sees I cant remember...and a gorgeous version of The Lord's prayer in aramaic which the pope had the joy to listen to, that's what led me here to you! For as much as people hate the see of rome and the bishop of rome, he has led many Roman Catholics in the Americas to discover you (he is the first pope from Latin america), to learn about you, to love you and want to be your friends. I love you all so dearly, I feel like my tribe is bigger now, although my family tribe still struggles here in the Americas, I feel less alone. May the good Lord bless you, and love you, and keep you forever in his merciful kindness, I humbly pray. I'm so lucky I found you!
