I have this thing too. I dont know why, after change the potentialmeter, i only can use a few minute only. Then the module burn. But why. Already 4 unit have same problem. Do you have any tips? Sorry for my english

Your English is good! Do you use the *same* value? What is the potmeter's position (values) and orientation (3-2-1 or 1-2-3)? Do you have any load on the output when you start it?

the pin at the back of the pot goes in the middle hole, the middle pin goes in the last or the innermost hole, the front pin goes in the remaining hole

This is a dangerous practice to follow because some parts might have a different pin layout. Connect the external potentiometer as a rheostat according to the connection of the original potentiometer.

Hi, thanks a lot for your videos. Have you measure the input current at different voltages when there is no output load? Thanks. (quiscient current)

Hi! I am glad that you liked the videos! No, unfortunately I haven't measured it.

I can't promise that I will do it in the near future but I will do it when I am working with this circuit again.

@@CuriousScientist does anybody else, that read this, know its value? I want to decide to buy or not to buy. Thanks

You explained very clear. I used those chinese 1-turn potentiometer and you have to buy a bunch to select the one with the closest value you need, always gave me between 20 to 25 percent less resistance

Thank you very much! Yeah those are very unreliable resistors. No wonder why they are so cheap, haha. On the other hand, I was positively surprised by the blue ones. I really like them.
