This micro-switch breaks quickly. It is not possible to buy a new one. I replaced it with a magnetic sealed contact. Not afraid of water, triggered by a magnetic field. I glued a piece of magnet to the lock mechanism.

I’ve had this problem. Sprayed locks with electrical cleaner. Really helped.

It is good to try things first, and start with the simplest cheapest things first, try pushing, pulling, a squirt of lube, is it wet. Have a really close up look at things, rollers, scratch marks, investigate like sherlock. Some people give up sooner or just cannot be arsed, so either pay big bux for some one else to do these things fix and charge. Or maybe a squirt of lube in the right place will solve the problem. Being a mechanic is taking on these challenges. The resulting investigation can be time consuming and expensive if your mechanic is inexperienced on your vehicle. So the next thing that takes effort is finding the right mechanic for your vehicle. I have seen people pay £1000 to others and still not get thier problem fixed. And I come along. it takes less than 3 minutes and what can I charge, I am happy with £20 leaving the customer GOBSMACKED. This is " experience" and "applied" knowledge actually getting to the customer. But these days with franchise's and greedy bosses the 3 minute fix is often turned into a £3K bill, with bull shit and lies. I had a boss that had a room full of broken parts he would show to the customer, clutches, torque converters, carburettors and and injection gear, brake callipers, and various other parts for these 3 minute fixes. Unfortunately the wealth never got passed down to me so I quit. Even this does not perturb these people. They always cry after the fact. Now I just fix my own vehicle which has saved me £1000's. I have got to the age where I would prefer some one else to do this stuff but I know when I am being fleeced for £1000's.

Check the rollers top and bottom make sure they are sound. I recently had to replace the lower roller which comes with the arm. Symptom is the door does not slide freely.
