For the tankbag, look for ATV side bags that hang on the sides of the tank with a hook/flappy-thing that goes over the fuel cap.

Haha! What you NEED to test Dave, is the Quadlock antivibration phone mount. Your phone video now looks as though you have Parkinsons. Good little review tho. And yes, that CP2 engine will go down as an all time classic.

Hi Dave, you always speak about the 400 km loop out of Sydney. I know parts of that loop consist of the Yengo trail and certain tracks in the Watagans. It would love to know the exact route of the “loop”. Would you mind sharing?

In the other corner, the 690/701 with modem electronics, superior suspension/lower c of g, 50 kg less weight and the same power as a T7. Despite the Yams smoothness and build quality, I’d go with the Austrian and it is $1000 less than the 2022 T7. Dave, would you take the T7 on that recent Northern Australia trip?

You might be happy with ATV tank panniers to keep the weight low. Not sure what would happen with your stuff in a crash though

Is there an inherent design flaw with this bike? The exhaust is mounted low then they mount the engine high above the exhaust, then mount a tall-shaped fuel tank on top of all that. It seems an incorrect design, all that weight levering the bike to fall on it's side.. Off-road bikes usually have a high-mounted exhaust so the engine can be mounted a bit lower while retaining ground clearance.

@@MotorcycleAdventureDirtbikeTV Sadly I haven't, but if I'm going to respect anyone's opinion of or recommendation for a bike it'd be yours for sure. Currently not able to ride since 2 severe strokes middle of last year, but still it's a bike I really like the look of and is definitely high on my want list should I recover enough to ride again. Still have my 2 year old KLX250, and a brand new CRF300 I bought about 3 days before my initial hospitalization, I've never even ridden it; buggar! My sons ride them for now. Never mind, I've got MAD TV on KZitem!
