I used a return-board over 50 years ago. Simply propped a 5x4 sheet of plywood against the far end of the table. Nothing to build, except sawing 3 feet off the end of the sheet.

well done. I suggest you glue some moss mat from the local do it yourself store to the board.

Pretty nice. Just need some rubbers on it and you're good to go. Can you tell me what hardware you used on the sides. Looks like you can rotate it yet it's still sturdy enough to hold its angle.

Nothing especial, just a hard plastic block with 3 holes.

Can we use any type of rubber on this plywood?

@@mutiullahkhan9583 I ended up making a return board. Any type of cheap inverted rubber will do the trick. Here's something to know about return boards and why I ultimately prefer robots. I'm left handed and have a pinch of natural hook on my forehand. Well if your forehand has any type of hook, the ball off the return board starts coming off to the side more & more. so your forehand has to come 100% over the top to get a consistent rally. Just something to be aware of.

put some rubber's (verylowcost) over the plywood this give you more speed on the returnball.
