If reincarnation is a thing, I want to come back as the next bass geek! You always teaching me something. From an old man hat began late in life fishing, I thank you Sir. God bless!

At least you still have water to fish in! Congratulations! Bunch of my lakes are drying up in south Texas. Good luck! 😊i❤

I was a frequent fisherman around the time the hybrids were stocked in that lake. I have heard a lot of criticism about them across many states.. but on THAT lake at least it doubled the quality of the topwater/shad bite. Easy. And it has been that way more or less ever since. The hybrids are the bosses keeping the shad up and tight.. and the bass absolutely exploit that. I remember the "fall shad" patterns going from post spawn until winter. With earlier electronics there were certainly challenging/skunk days.. but there were also days when it was absolute freakin fire. I was blessed with MANY "mornings of a lifetime" I miss that lake.

@@BassGeek For sure. I'm about 3 hours north of there now and had a "skunk" day last weekend with over 12 hours on the water. Nothing is where it "should" be. Thankfully there are always a couple angry redeye up shallow to remind you what a bite feels like 🤣 The appalachian mountains desperately need rain. We're 1/3 the way to winter pool up here and zero inflow. BUT if we can get significant precipitation things may pop off in an explosive way.

My favorite thing to do on the bite gets tough is to toss around the The banks with a mini jig like the strike king bitsy bug

I love a tiny jig. You should try a 3in rage bug or like bait. It's a killer

Noticed largemouth definitely inspect the bait however there’s times when they make the go decision long before it gets to them. Not sure if it’s the direction it’s coming at them or what but in those cases doesn’t seem like they inspect it at all.

@BassGeek going t9 place my order now thanks brother keep up the great content. If I could make 1 suggestion myself personally would love to see exactly how you break down a new body of water from using electronics to looking at land composition etc. Thanks Hank 🍻

Now why is it so hard for the tournament anglers to take time like you do and fizz the ones that are caught deep. Thats the ones that die after the tournament. Thats what gives the tournament anglers a bad reputation and thats why we don’t them on our lakes in East Tennessee!

Just a curious question will you ever use live bait on the channel?
