Whoa, first time I saw this video just now! And I have no memory whatsoever of singing this tag =D

I am jealous of Kyle's beastly bass voice. It is beastly... and frighteningly resonant. Jealousy abounds. Almost as frightening as Tim Waurick's freaky ass range... or Eric's effortless singing. Scary shit happening here folks.

Kyle is an absolute unit of a bass. He's the kind that every lead and bari prays for.

When Tim takes the post on "Rains" overtones explode everywhere.

I like Tim's lighter voice here, that sounds more like falsetto (but isn't quite, just a very heady mix).

Thats part of what makes Tim unique in the Barbershop space - he uses more headvoice and mix rather than just a distinct chest and falsetto. He has developed technique and its a pleasure to hear!

@@jeffreyprows3982 What I've noticed, however, is that he lately likes to use a thicker vocal closure in this range, producing a heavier sound. I'm just saying I like this lighter mechanism he's using here. I think it fits really well into how this peace is written. I appreciate that his voice is stronger up higher now, and I like hearing him show it off, but this one just fit more to me. I think it's just that most barbershop is written with the idea that the tenor will use a lighter mechanism (whether head voice or falsetto) in this range.
