The pink variety of “Swamp Milkweed” is Asclepias Incarnata. I couldn’t remember that when I was filming. It grows natively here in zone 6b and usually prefers swampy areas like roadside ditches. Remember Monarchs will sip nectar from any flowering plant they can land on with good surface stability for their weight/size, and their offspring need milkweed to feed on when they hatch out. Incarnata grows natively in zone 6b, and I personally grow a good deal of tuberosa (the orange blooms), which they also eat. Just grow the milkweed that best suits your growing zone. The butterflies will do the rest. ❤
