I hate when people say oh she is white why is she dancing that culture first of all some of us island girls may look white but in our blood we are not white at all we are different so people who says that check your slefs and open up your eyes I look white with green eyes I don't have white in me I'm from guam full islander so shhh 🌴🌺

+Daniella Quidachay I hope people don't ask questions like that. The halau I joined back in gradeschool didn't discriminate against race and taught any and all people who wanted to learn to dance and enjoy their wonderful culture.

This is childish. Also the white ancestors did influence the Polynesian culture, or what does the people think where the Ukulele is from and how the techniques from the white did influence all the improvements. The computers, Television, MP3 .... from the Germans other from people from the USA. All used techniques which give you time and possibility to improve your culture are from the white people, and only from the white people. Such ignorant people should be ashamed because they want nothing give back.

@BabyGirlGoddess its not really that hard..just move your body in a circular motion but for your fa'arapu it has to be fast. but you have to try to keep your feet together when you shake and try not to move your upper body. that is what creates thee illusion of it looking soo easy to do, but in reality its pretty intense. hope this helps.(:
