Great conversation on the cap. Just reaffirms what utter bullshit it is. There's never been one is baseball, who all have guaranteed contracts, and it works just fine. Small markets compete while huge markets like NY who buy every expensive player in site and haven't won the WS in 15 years. At the very least the NFL should have a "dynasty player tag" or "core player tag" carve out for 11 players. You wanna keep your entire offense? Then do it. Wanna keep your entire defense? Keep em. Or the most likely scenario you keep 11 of your best players and pay them whatever you want. Every market in the NFL is big enough to compete financially. As it stands now if you don't have a HOF caliber QB you'll wallow in mediocrity. Teams without that guy should be able to pay stud offensive linemen to elevate the average QB. Or pay a ridiculous defense to compete. The cap did nothing to prevent dynasties as Brady and Mahomes plainly illustrate. We all know where that leaves everyone else. Lusting after a quarterback. It's ridiculous

Brandon and Jayden take the team higher bc they are so familiar with each other is insane. On the same team elevates the receiving corps. But you don’t mortgage the team future to it’s detriment
