That was great. Nice, smooth, clean bass tone throughout the song. You didn't try to make it a bass song and add anything to it and supported the whole song staying in the pocket. My hats off.

I’ve only been playing bass for a year now but I have found myself loving these type of grooves where you are locked in the mix over the more technical stuff where drums was totally opposite for me

No offense but, were you a guitar player before you played bass? You hang your thumb over the fretboard a lot, instead of anchoring it on the back of the neck.
