At 80 years old my Mother had a severe stroke. She was completely paralyzed on one side. The doctor said she’d have to live in a convalescent hospital the rest of her life. I immediately began research and found out that the AMA recommends acupuncture. I got her acupuncture treatments. After the 3rd treatment she completely recovered. Acupuncture will only be helpful if done within the first30 days after a stroke. My mom was at her 29th day when she received her first treatment. She was completely mobile. She lived her life out enjoying her own home.

Most effective part of garlic is when you just crushed it or sliced it. That sticky stuff is most effective for the next 15 minutes. Might as well chew the garlic or use a food processor and add it to food. Never take the tablet for as it is dried up garlic and the juice is already dehydrated which removes the effectivity. It taste nasty by itself, but I use a food processor, juicer, or blender to grind it and add it as sauce to air fried fatty food like pork. Guaranteed blood pressure drop by at least 10 to 20 points. Adding fresh garlic to food while it cooks helps, but the more it is cooked/burnt the more the effectivity is depreciated.

Seven years ago my mother passed away after having a stroke. That night when she had her stroke she was feeling kinda restless. I asked her again & again about her restlessness & insisted her to go to the hospital but she repeatedly refused. Later that night she was up from sleep & tried to go to the bathroom but she couldn’t & fall. I heard the noise & rushed there. I found her on the floor struggling to gather her strength. She urinated on herself, lose control over her hands, couldn’t move her legs, face was droopy & salivating, mumbling & couldn’t speak clearly. I'm no doctor but I could clearly tell what was going on with her. I immediately called the ambulance & she was hospitalized asap. When the reports appeared we get to know that the left side of her body become paralyzed. She stayed like that for almost six months & her conditions never actually improved. She got all possible treatments but nothing helped because of her diabetes, kidney problems, hypertension & above all insane level stress. After six months she went to comma & never woke up again. Since her departure I've learned a few things & tend to follow them possibly always. And these are : never take your body for granted because its ability of self healing comes with a boundary, reduce your stress level amsp, eat healthy, exercise regularly, listen to your doctors, some medications are for lifetime (being an asthma patient inhaler for me) & should always be taken, and most importantly value your one & only life because that's the one & only one we've got.

There is a problem with getting the medicine after having a stroke. Having had two small strokes and three minor stokes I was never given the post stroke medicine. The problem is you get to the hospital and admitted as an emergency patient. You have wait for the doctor to get to you. The doctor will not issue you the medicine until you get an MRI. You wait to be taken down to the MRI. Once there you have to wait for all the patients in front of you to get their MRI. This includes non emergency scheduled MRIs. After that you wait to get taken back to the emergency room where you wait for the doctor to get around to you. This process has always exceeded the four hour limit to receive the stroke medication. Stroke patients are not given the ER priority they need.

Happened to me with a TIA, too. I had to have 3 MRIs because the first two had artifacts on the scan. I knew the classic symptoms AND was sitting in front of a Dr within 1 hour of symptoms coming on. Annatto (Bixa Orellana), an Amazonian tree that produces bright red seeds, has been used as a source of food and oil since 3,600 BCE. Modern research shows that annatto contains tocotrienol, a phytonutrient with extraordinary antioxidant properties. Annatto is the only plant source to provide exclusively the delta- and gamma-tocotrienols- the most potent forms of vitamin E. I was having mini strokes for years and didn’t know I was until my husband saw my eyes twitching and pulled over to a fire department that took me to the hospital ( I didn’t think I needed to go) after CT scan had a huge tumor in my head. I have had memory issues and sometimes people look at me weird because I can be hard to understand. It’s frustrating to say the least but lucky to be alive. My neurologist said I had probably been having TIAs for 10 yrs. I had memory and forgetfulness for yrs, such as looking at a straw and not remembering the word straw and calling it a sippy upper thing. My kids and husband called it “Wendy language “

I am glad YT proposed this video today. Without knowing, I had a stroke last year which was discovered only months later. When I started feeling that something was wrong, including lack of balance, I thought it had to do with my inner ear canal, because of some symptoms (constant tinnitus, compression). Some months later I was taken into A&E because of a racing heart and very hish blood pressure (I am a type 1 diabetic with arterial disease and other complications, and I also suffer from Chronic Heart Failure). I described my imbalance problems but all I got in response was 'Have you spoken to your surgery?'. A few days later, after a number of scans, they told me I had had a stroke. I insisted with my GP, sometime later, to be seen by an ENT (which is happening in April), but your video was an eye opener - thank you. PS: As a result of the stroke/mini stroke, part of my body (on the right side) stiffened and if I rub the right hand it feels as if it was 'gritty'.

Yes, the advice about aspirin is confusing. Not that I ever tale it. But it would be good to know exactly what a stroke is in simple language. I imagine a blood clot in the brain where you need to dissolve the clot. And the worry of a clot moving to the brain and causing sudden loss of consciousness. But the other is the opposite where blood leaks into the brain and in this case aspirin would not help. If the above is correct then to say you have had a stroke is most unhelpful as your health problem could be one of two diametrically opposed problems. It seems odd not to be more precise when dealing with such a serious health issue. Maybe I have got it completely wrong?
@Luceforall
Жыл бұрын
@@jfryer485 You pose an interesting question, and for my sake, as well as yours and others, it would be good to get a clearer picture. All I can say, in my personal experience, is that they found the carotid artery blocked (around 60 per cent, left side of the neck). They deemed it too dangerous to operate on me, so they made the decision to add a further medicine (Clopidogrel) to the other medication I was already taking - Warfarin and Aspirin. The results were disastrous - I ended up covered in bruises and then I started bleeding internally, ending up in A&E. Needless to say, I stopped taking the new medication of my own accord!
@jfryer485

@@Luceforall Hello, sorry to hear of your woes. How much is due to you know what or have you had issues before Covid et al. Sounds like you had the full whammy with clotting problems and leakage of the blood in your body. Perhaps better to leak out where it is causing bruising of the body rather than building up pressure and pain in the head. Personally I think you did well to decide for yourself that the new medication was not for you. Looking at its chemical structure you wonder who dreamt up this medication and who decided it was a good thing to give to humans. My theory is that yes they find it has a fantastic effect for strokes but how do they know all the other effects. The short answer is they don’t and it comes with problems, first it can actually also cause what it is being given for as arguably more recent and very profitable treatments might also be argued to do the same. And second once you start it appears most dangerous to stop. So it has the benefit for those that profit from this drug that life treatment is necessary until … You did well to break off at the start. I think good food (organic), vitamins and perhaps a drop or two of a good red wine myself!

Hey Dr Berg, thanks for helping all of us who have strokes or any disorder a person may suffer from. We appreciate you..I was suffering from another disorder(I got in college) which was and still is pssd, also type 2 diabetes, and now just 6 months ago a stroke..Dr Berg, I had a mild stroke(doctor told me it was a 3 or 4 on the scale of 1 to 10..I scored normal on the physical/functional/speach therapy that I had..I only stayed in physical therapy for one week(released because I scored normal after a week), functional therapy(therapist, said I did not need it) speech therapy(scored in the normal range the first day. I was /released 4 days later)..my side effects are weakness on my leftside. My left arm is weak. I can lift it normally just like I did before I had a stroke, but it is weak...I walk normally. I cannot run or sprint..I can jog but very slowly.. I have a slight droop on the left side of my face, and memory issues(having problems coming up with words sometimes). I am really scared of having another one. ......................Dr Berg, my question to you is can you tell me what should a person expect in terms of recovery after they have had a stroke 6 months prior, and I follow what you recommended with the tocotrienol? What is your experience of folk given the profile I have? I listened to your video, and I just am praying that tocotrienol can help me recovery a little of my function, I have been a athelete all my life. The thought of not every being able to play tennis again(I was a top college tennis player in my youth(I am 55 years old now) It is devastating everytime I thing about it..I would appreciate(If you can.) give me your thoughts on what you have read. I had cancer in 2005 and had radiation treatments to the head and neck- the radiologist told me that later in life it was possible I would have a stroke as a side effect of the radiation. Ten years later, in 2015 I had that stroke. After trying to stand up and having my left leg give way, we called 911- but it was 4 hours after the onset so the medical chemical treatment was not an option. An Interventional Radiologist (Shout-out to Dr Zylek at Sacred Heart Hospital ) performed a procedure that opened up the affected blood vessel in my brain, pushing through the blockage ( I got to watch the replay video later) allowing perfusion to the oxygen starved area of my brain. I was very very lucky, - only my left hand lost full functionality - and I am right handed. Been on keto for a year and a half, and had a sudden vertigo attack. Knowing BEFAST, I went to an ER, was CT scanned with dye. Everything indicated me vibrantly healthy, no clots, no issues. The vertigo continued. I sought additional help. ENT determined my vertigo to be central, in the brain. Iwas sent to a neurologist, got a MRI, where it has been determined that I had had a micro-mini stroke... I'm seeking this tocotrienol E on my way to the gym. Because of the vertigo, I've had to spend a lot of time laying down... in turn, I've lost stamina and strength... Now I hit the gym 3 times per week,which reminds me how weak I really am, and why I'm there. These workouts also help me recover more quicky from a vertigo bout, only having to sit for a few minutes instead of laying down for an hour+. Seeing another neurologist as a follow-up from the MRI.

The comment section is sad to hear, I feel bad about what I'm about to ask. I had a major stroke, 2 three inch clots were removed and a stent put in 27 July of this year. Six hours from incident to angio. No clue what caused it, no aneurysms, no vaccine of unknown origin lol. I had been eating a lot more fish this year and that may have been a major role in my recovery. I walked out of the hospital after three days. My left side is still firing, ice is painful, hot water feels like fire and food tastes like chemicals. It's getting better over time but now that I've typed that my answer seems obvious. Of course this would help, and probably slow down or stop a future one. Now I just need to figure out a way to exercise that doesn't cause bruising on Brilinta. Losing allot of weight ( combo of atorvastatin and hating food right now?) and starting to lose muscle mass. 205 to 165lbs since July. Gallbladder was feeling crampy so I started taking the ox Bile Salts hopefully I'm not countering or nullifying the statin for cholesterol. Atorvastatin caused the muscle loss. In the medical insert, it tell you all the side effects from taking this statin. Here are a few of them: Loss of appetite. Weight loss. Increase BP. Increase Cholesterol. Liver and Kidney damage Hair loss. Brain fog. That just a few. I ween myself off of it, because it did not help me at all. IMPORTANT: your doctor should check your liver every 3 months, for damage. Also when you go to the doctor, monitor yourself. Some places still use the infra red thermometer. What I absolutely found out, when it was used on ME ( on my forehead), I experienced tackicardia, which made my BP go up. When checked on my wrist, everything was normal.

You don't have to choose ! The video recommends you to avoid aspirin. Just take tocotrienols. If you want to improve your vessels, ginkgo biloba and red wineyard may help (and they make your blood a little more fluid as well, but not as much as aspirin). You can take both or alternately for YEARS without pbs. They may prevent strokes, heart attacks, clots, plaques...

As you say, Dr. Berg the right information can make the difference between full recovery and not full recovery. You are right that we do not use the trocotienol-rich food sources typically in our diet (of vitamin E Tocotrienols). I decided to try to incorporate tocotrienols. I consulted with the professional at my food coop and he showed me the ethically -sourced red palm oil. Today I made macamania nut clusters (with cocoa, and red palm oil, also chocolate chips). You said that if there is other vitamin E (tocopherols) it will compete with the tocotrienols - and I confirmed that the cocoa and the macadamia nuts are not vitamin E rich foods, thus there are not tocopherols in this recipe. Therefore the red palm oil's trocotienols can get the job done. I understand that munster cheese may use annatto seed as the orange coloring. This topic will be fun to study further. Dr Berg, I am so thankful for you sharing your continual insights for healing. Your gift of sharing is of great value to those who follow you. Many thanks for your service to mankind.

In some Caribbean countries (may even Oregon countries as well) nutmeg is placed under the tongue of someone who has had a stroke, so as to prevent another stroke from occurring.

The tree which yields annatto ('achiote' in Spanish) grows in my small town in Panamá. My grandmother would use annatto as a natural colorant to many of her dishes. We believed that was its only benefit; how wrong were we? I'll rush this info to family and friends; thank you Dr. Berg.

I'm confused, it seemed like he said the opposite of that. Unless I am misunderstanding what he said. I use the Goya Sazon seasoning which is annatto/achiote based.

Dr. Berg this is a horrific illness and a dearest one of mine was struck by it when I was a small boy. I've seen all of the horrors a stroke can bring. Kindly make a detailed video about what can be done to avoid this dreadful medical condition in the first place. What further steps should we be taking in addition to IF, OMAD, daily walking, avoiding sugars and omega 6, getting proper sleep, eating adequate raw leavy greens and consuming coffee and tea? Thanks in advance for your guidance.

S9me of his videos on the heart will help answer this. Off hand, I’d say cod liver from wild caught fish, sprouts, kefir & sauerkraut all homemade, eggs from healthy chicken/ quails/ ducks. Meats from animals that were well treated and well fed on nutrients rich grass. Not trying to overwhelm 😅

My aunt had none of these symptoms. She had bad "headaches," she said that lasted over 10 minutes. So she just lay down for a couple of hours. She had many of these "headaches". Then one day she was diagnosed with multi-infarct dementia.

Dr berg,read a comment on Amazon that the K2 vitamin has an interaction w the tocotrienol which lessens effectivity of the K2. The K2 is what moves the Calcium to the bones instead of it clogging the arteries. Would appreciate your comment please
