I am glad to learn of this fantastic speaker- Nurul Jihadah. She is articulate, insightful and engaging. I googled on her background and is so impressed by her contributions to minority/Muslim women. She is impacting lives of many women. She helps them to recognise and find their economic worth. Salute her for empowering women. It means complete sense to enable women, especially, stay-home mothers, to be stronger and bolder .These mothers will go on to raise stronger and more resilient kids who grow up to positively impact society in future.

Everyone deserves to be happy! I have just taken a decision to take a career break. Really like the conversations around having goals during your career break and preparing yourself mentally when we want to get back into the workforce.

Thanks for this great epsiode. The questions raised by Dawn to Nurul are so relatable, especially on the judgement part when mothers take a career break just to be more involved with their kids. Nurul provides very good pespective too on this topic.

Wow, “it is a moral gap” simply strikes me. Continue to be awesome, regardless of the perception. Everyone would find the ones that sees the value in them. Be patient

This hits hard and still going through the grief - the unplanned kind - its tough battling yourself to heal yet knowing you can’t afford the luxury of time to do it because of commitments 🥲 累

累 is real. Maybe we should organise something for unplanned career breaks. Bring in all the relevant people and agencies. Let us simmer over this. Jiayou!
