Hi Everyone and Welcome to Promethean Sewing Machines, where I am unashamedly rebelliously creative when it comes to taking old forgotten sewing machines and bringing them back to life in a beautiful way.
Meet my new project:
This is a Singer Model 66 from 1910. Originally she was a red eye with horrendous paint and decals so a while back I used her as a guinea pig to try out different black paints in splotches here and there (before I gave up on black paint... because if I'm going to go through all the work to paint, why stay with black? But I digress...) Finally, I popped some standard decals on her and left her alone. But now I'm going to do it right and start her process to a new look. Come with me as I take her apart and get her ready to strip down.
Thanks for watching!
~Marie
