YEEAAH! LET’S GO! SORRY NOT SORRY!! His recaps of Pickleball tournaments are what I tell all my friends who don’t normally watch pickleball to watch to get them into the sport! His humor and “sorry not sorry” approach to laughing at and pointing out all the hilarious interviews and things that go on over a weekend are so fun to watch!

Plus those L.A. Gear Pickleball shoes are fire! I’ve got a second pair on order bc I loved the first ones so much!!

My journey into PB nerd exactly mirrors what Chris described. Started with Rec play, got on you tube for instructional Pb (including Briones), then PPA tournaments popped up in my you tube feed…then the podcasts and down the rabbit hole! Love Sorry not Sorry podcast especially the intro! Also- I’m team Lea Jansen !

Loyal S n S follower since day one. Watch every re-cap. Chris's "snarky" narrating is the best. Jordan where do I get that hat? Ben and Ge for sure! "hookers" of the week. Close Call Replay for sure. "pay back" hooks are a thing. The "Steve Khun" Trophy Ha Ha. Go Black Bears!! Heard there's a a i program that takes a video and puts out all the %'s of every shot type and location.

this guy's channel is solid, but telling your guest you don't really know anything about them and spending 15 minutes asking super generic questions isn't the best look

Really ? lol. That’s how I meet real people for the first time, everything raw, on the podcast. 😊

raw is great, but if you look at truly top tier interviewers like Sean Evans (from Hot Ones) or Tim Ferriss- where guests are often like "wow I've never been asked that before" or "how did you know about that?," they'll have done their research on their guest and have very targeted questions that get beyond the surface-level to the subjects they're able to spin gold from. of course, they have the assistants to track down sources and the guests have more subject matter to go through for interesting tidbits, so a grain of salt can be taken on the logistics there....

When it comes to being pulled out wide during a dinking duel, is it better to hit a slice reset dink to the middle and short in the kitchen closer to the net to force them to hit up and soft OR to slice the reset dink to the middle and longer towards the kitchen line to apply pressure to them? Let's assume that one can do both equally well. Also, if an opponent hits a dink towards my inside foot, where is the best place to return that dink to strategically? (just asking because I don't see anybody covering this).

27:40 Hooks Of The Week - Sorry Not Sorry Segment Chris discusses his new segment called "Hooks of the Week," where he highlights instances of players appearing to call balls out that were arguably in or vice versa. He explains that @CloseCallReplay, which offers high-frame-rate replay technology, sponsors the segment. Chris reveals that players have been reaching out to him, providing clips of alleged incorrect line calls from matches, asking him to feature them in the segment. He even mentions a clip where professional player Salome Devidze admitted in an interview to having intentionally hooked opponents on two occasions in her career, which Chris included in the segment. The discussion highlights the ongoing issue of line calling in professional pickleball tournaments, with Chris expressing frustration at the lack of consistent and reliable line call technology being used. He criticizes the PPA for denying Close Call Replay's offer to provide their high-frame-rate replay service for free at an upcoming tournament. Chris seems to relish the controversial nature of the "Hooks of the Week" segment, acknowledging that it calls out players for incorrect line calls but also provides a platform for discussing and addressing the issue. The segment has garnered attention and feedback from players and fans alike, reflecting the passionate debates surrounding line calling and fairness in the sport.

On the Colin thing I think they just need to allow Colin to take his openings when he gets them. Rn now it feels teams go to Colin and feel comfortable almost knowing he’s never gonna speed up or aggressive dink
