Wow the bluebells were a sight for sore eyes! How cute was the foal!!! 😍😍 Draw reins are a good idea for a horse that's a bit jumpy! Definitely better than resorting to a harsh bit and over tightened nose band!!

The foal was gorgeous, and her mum was lovely to. That Bluebells woods was the best I’ve seen yet, absolutely stunning.

Absolutely spamming you on this vid, should've watched it through then commented at the end 😂 I don't think you need to justify why your using draw reins tbh, we use them too sometimes. Sadly it's another one of those things that has gotten a bad reputation for being incorrectly or harshly used, but as with many tools /aids I think they have their place. It is funny how people home in on stuff like this though. Some of the forums and chat threads I've stumbled onto before are absolute gold, people get so opinionated it's hilarious 😂 I'm so chuffed for you that your back on board ❤❤❤

Hahaha I do that sometimes. But if I wait till the end of a vid I can’t remember everything I was going to say. 😂 No you’re totally right not needing to justify the draw reins, but decided before someone got all huffy about it. Yessss! I won’t lie, fairly confident I know which one your talking about and I do give it a little read every now and then. 😂 Thanks, I was chuffed with that ride today. I came to the decision if I ever want to school/compete again or just make interesting YT vlogs again I’m going to have to be brave and try and get Sienna going!

@@EJMEQUESTRIAN oh yeah, there's always that huffy know-it- all who rocks up with their supercharged keyboard ready to re-educate you 😂😂😂😂 man those forums are great .... So great. I mean, there is zero educational value in them, but the comedy value is off the charts 👌🤣 I'm not even sure they know what they are arguing about sometimes, which makes it even better 🤪 And hey ... 'fortune favours the brave' ❤️

That was really good to see. To get back going with Sienna & just get on with it is the best thing. Draw reins whatever ppl should just mind their own business. Lara has suddenly becoming really erratic but I'm determined to deal with it. So I've cancelled all hacks with friends ( shes better to hack alone ) & groundwork is the only thing that makes her respect me. Unfortunately none of the equestrian centers allow ground work & I don't have a school. So I took her out in a bridle & lung line for 2/3 km down the lane to work on our bond again. Looking forward to seeing more with Sienna.

Thanks. Honestly these mares, they are high maintenance. Hope Lara settles and the ground work helps. I think there are so many positives to actually doing groundwork away from the arena. Well done you for heading out on to the bridleway.

My Birthday 🎈🎂 is on the 8th of May, so I am planning to subscribe to Badminton TV as a Birthday present to myself. Sadly, they are not streaming Little Badminton as far as I can remember. Actually going isn't an option because I am in Australia. Midges must be awful to live with.

The midges really are on another level this year. I think a Badminton Tv sub is a great birthday gift! Personally when it comes to cross country day, it’s always better watching it on tv, sat on a comfy sofa, enjoying snacks. ☺️
