Transporting your mobility scooter from a Walt Disney World hotel to one of the parks can seem like a daunting task, especially when getting it on the bus is the only way. In this video, I show you what it is like to load your scooter or ECV onto the bus. I also share a couple of tips for making it a bit easier. Please note that there is a correction to this video below.
In this video, all eyes seem to be on me as I attempt to park on the bus to the Magic Kingdom. I made a fool of myself by bumping into the seat dividers, then the bus driver pops the scooter into neutral and re-parks. He makes it looks so easy. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
CORRECTION: Mobility scooters board at the back of the bus and generally load after able bodied individuals unload. After your scooter is loaded and strapped in, the bus driver will open the front door to let others board.
This video was taken during my second trip renting a scooter or ECV from a rental off Disney property. Filmed Sept. 2017
Thanks for watching ♥

A spoonie can refer to any individual who suffers from a chronic illness. The term originated from a post written by Christine Miserandino entitled The Spoon Theory, which uses a spoon as a measure of energy.
