Thank you for taking the time for such an honest, thorough review. Only negative for me is I found the camera going out of focus a little aggravating.

Thank you George. Yes, sorry about the camera focus - sometimes I don't notice it and then I have no alternative footage when it comes to editing.

Thanks for sharing your view about this kit.....looks like a good one.....and the build was pretty straightforward albeit the small number of issues. Will be looking forward to seeing which camo scheme you will be using in the next episode.

Hi Model Nerd I think the access panels you mentioned at 4:45 into the video are air intake trap doors that can be closed when the tank has to wade across water. The Panzer Ausf N could partially submerge, to what depth I'm not sure. Thanks for the cool videos. John

Thanks, that's really useful to know. I'm not sure why the manual couldn't have included that (and mentioned the option to have them closed).

cheers@@ModelNerd Those struts on rear section that gave you hassle fitting them would be visible if the trap doors were open and you had the tank upside down to view.

Looks like a nice kit. Always liked this version of the MK III with the short 75mm gun. 💥

Tamiya's PZ 3 N is good too, but you would have to pay 3 arms and legs for it. Dragon's was great, but Takom is as good.

Yeah. I wish they would make the booklet larger . They are just too small. They are making great kits. I hope they make a Desert J.

There are so many versions of tanks like this that I wish I knew more about. But yes, I'm looking to do a desert German vehicle using the AK Real Colours paints, so that would be nice.

These Takom kits are decent, fewer problems, or problems that are easily overcome than most others. I do have this and a few other Takom kits in my stash, so far, I like them all. Instructions can be a bit vague, some assemblies need some bigger drawings to get correct. Just because the pieces are small, doesn't mean the assembly step should be also. Why NO antennas included with most kits? Takom makes such a big deal when a kit comes with an antenna! Now it Takom would just build a Tiger1. Build looks good, nice job

Hi Bob. Agree with you on most points here. There is an aerial included with this kit - I should have pointed it out. It's molded to be not quite straight, which gives a nice effect.

Yes, it really is. Some of the steps are much harder to follow because of this. I guess it's because of the box size.

@@ModelNerd I thought so. I just built their new pziv and loved it. Last week I built their pziii ausf j new kit and it was superb. The takom blitz pziii looks nice.....you done a good job. Wise move to attach top and bottom hulls first methinks. 😃

Yeah...not major issues like big gaps, but a bit of trimming here and there. Definitely benefits from a dry-fit first.
