16:40 "You can almost hide behind this character ... but then again, it's so exposing because it is yourself." It's so interesting, the relationship between a performer and the audience. The performer displays a crafted piece of themselves. The audience gives an anonymous response. What does a performer do with the audience response? The audience responded to the character. Is the character the same as you? Then, these interviews let us (audience) see more of the performer, beyond the character on the stage. Et voila: a parasocial relationship.

Will, you're adorable and so brilliantly talented. I bet while watching this back you noticed how many times you said "like." It would be amazing to see you on shows like Graham Norton. I bet you've kept working on the way you express your art. Wish you all, all, all the best forever. You've changed me through your moves!

Yo, this interview space is clean! Next time you do an interview, can you get a B camera doing close-ups of you and the interviewee? Cutting between closeups and wideshots is really important for interviews.

Will is an utterly mesmerising dancer. I was looking forward to hearing what makes him tick. Sadly, I could hardly understand anything of what was being said here at all. The whole discussion is almost completely unintelligible. I also hate the overuse of the word “Like”, which he somehow manages to use multiple times in one sentence, and therefore becomes almost all you can hear. It amazes me that people who say “Like” so constantly have no awareness that they’re doing it, and how it diminishes almost every point they are trying to make. Even the “L” word aside, there was nothing really to hang your hat on here. I hope people got something from this. Unfortunately I didn’t. Will continue to love his dancing though of course. A talent of the highest order.

Anyone put off by frequent use of “like”, just hang on till the end where he dances to an original poem. Then you will get to hear him speak as fluently as he dances.

@@sw-suddentraveller How odd that you seem offended by such an innocuous comment. My opinion remains the same after rewatching the interview. I think it would be in his best interest. Charm, integrity and honesty are admirable but haven't got anything to do with speaking on camera or speaking publicly. If a person starts becoming famous they benefit from certain forms of training that they haven't yet received. I personally think it would help him so that he wouldn't use the word "like" so much. I think he's wonderful.
