Very eye opening. Let’s wait till the last episode to see if my thoughts have changed.

@TheCharacterSheet I would say probably not yet, but let’s give it one more episode to be sure.

I'm much more intrigued by them, and also wanna know the Primordials' side to the story if the line between Prime and Betrayer was so thin, what has history gotten right and what have they simply assumed? Though not enough so far (and unlikely entirely) to agree with a certain archmage trying to release a god-eating entity...

I'm fascinated to see how BH is gonna react to all this. That whole healing the kid but then starting to drop the city - that's wild

I love his take on this aspect of Melora. Brennan talks about how the world has been ravaged by this war, and I feel like Asha mirrors that perfectly.

It's a strange feeling watching Critical Role cast members get sent on interview shows to promote their stuff. It's a like a nerdy Morning Show circuit.

Marketing is important. I feel like the cast showcases their passion project versus paid placements. I love the insight from them and it helps give context in many ways. As a player and DM, whether it's developing a character or storytelling, these conversations have so much value to them.

Taliesin is just an absolute legend. I think his way of seeing life is honestly such an interesting perspective. Him and Liam have been my favourites since C1. Much love to Taliesin. Edit: Matt is a god, I can't believe how much of exandria and the history behind it all... he built the lot... and it sounds like he has so much more to show

Yeah, Mercer is my favorite world builder. The fact that even more than ten years later, from a one-shot, he still has lore to reveal. And unlike some media, parts of the world aren't and can't be under his control, yet he can get it all to make sense.

Downfall is The Bear “Feast of 7 Fishes” as a D&D game. A big, loud, dysfunctional family making everyone deal with their problems.

I love Taliesin's brand of weird. It screams 'I had an unusual childhood and know a lot of different types of people'. Listening to him talk about stuff he's into is relaxing.

This is one of the best, most nuanced, thoughtful, and fun interviews ever. It scratches all the itches. In inspired introspection, another example of what growth and emotional intelligence can look like and made me laugh! Fuxk yeah!.

When it comes to places they haven't been to yet, it sort of feels like parts of the Exandrian map are missing. Looking at the different climate zones, the tropical belt looks to be where the Shattered teeth are, and there should logically be a big area below it that is not there on any current maps.

The Dung beetle knight for sure! Imagine playing as some sorta paladin having many adventures until he finds a pile of dung big enough and immediately retires from adventuring to burry the dung and have children. You see joining andventruing parties is actually the most effective way to even fund monsterous piles of dung. So like they are approachung their furst dragon, about to fight it then the beetle knight finds it's dung and peaces out.

Just a little FYI, that's how caduceus is actually supposed to be pronounced when it's not being used as a fantasy character name. It's the staff of hermes symbol that gets used by the medical industry. Ya know, cuz Cad is a healer. Also the name is kinda a pun of Cassius Clay - the birth name of Muhammad Ali - which also ends with the shuhs sound. But Taliesin knew they'd called him douche, so he switched the pronunciation because deuce is the lesser evil.
