“DECLARATION OF DEPENDENCE” Now that’s one hell of a way to let the audience know it’s an alternate history story.

I recall reading an account from a Green Beret in Vietnam who carried an MP-40. He simply requisitioned one through his unit's clerk, and within the week, the weapon was shipped from the U.S. No doubt the Army had PLENTY left over from the '40s, along with the ammo for them. of course the VC would have had a few, gifted via the Soviets or East Germans.

One of these days, I'm going to do a drawing based around some of the funny things you say in these podcasts, like James Bond in the Falklands and the Teapot Dome Scandal. I want to do it, I just need to find the chance to actually do it. But one day you guys might see something from me. I can't guarantee that it'll be great, but I'll at least have making it and maybe you guys will find humor in it.

You mock the M3 light tank, but it was ideal for the Philippines. Heavier tanks couldn't operate there because of the jungle terrain. The Japanese used light tanks where they operated because they understood that. A light tank with light armament would have performed fine. And it is likely the US still would have invaded the Philippines instead of Taiwan. The defenses on Taiwan were judged to be similar to the Japanese Home Islands because of the mountains and tunnels, while the Philippines were much more vulnerable. The US didn't go back just because MacArthur wanted to.

I've been wanting to tell you about this for a while, but you haven't released a new vid. There's this alt history story I discovered online about ww1. It's called Operation Unicorn, it's mostly focused on the Kaiserliche Marine. Link to the synopsis- www.tapatalk.com/groups/alternatehistoryfictory/operation-unicorn-synopsis-repost-t654.html . It was one of the best I've read. Then again the only other ones I had read at the time was The Hot War by turtledove. I'm also into naval stuff more so it was perfect for me. Also, do you have a discord server? I haven't been able to find it if you do, and if you don't then will you be willing to? I know I would join for one. Edit: also Halleck Baby Yoda KEK Edit 2: on the subject of other alt histories you could review, there's this civil war trilogy by Newt Gingrich, yeah seriously. I've finished the first one and getting through the second. Basically Le goes around Meade and makes him attack him, gets destroyed and then grant comes over and the union eventually still wins. It's better than my summary kek
