@@PetaPixelI'd love to see a travel/city backpack comparison too. Under seat and/or carry-on sized with comfort as a big priority for schlepping through airports. I've gone through so many bags and still can't find anything great (including Shimoda bags like the 35l Explore V2 which for some reason isn't comfortable for me and is tough to fit gear in with their rigid cubes). I'm currently using a 30l and 36l ULA Dragonfly with a Large Peak Design V2 camera cube. The biggest downsides are the lack of rear opening and minimal organization/pockets but it's ultra lightweight and comfortable.
@alexjowx

@@bladerealm124did you try the Shimoda Urban Explorer? That’s the most comfortable bag I’ve ever had by far. Not sure how much different it would to the Explorer for you. I also have a Oberwerth bag. Slightly less ideal, as there’s no rear opening, and pricey (although given the leather, it’s really worth it).

@@alexjowx I haven't tried the Urban Explore but I might give it a shot. It does look like they moved to plusher style straps. My concern with their camera cubes remains however. I find even their large cubes a little too small and rigid at the edges, especially for full frame Canon and Nikon gear. It's a stark difference after using some other bags with more malleable cubes or no cubes at all. And the depth isn't that great. I did find a bit of a "hack" in that the Peak Design Large V2 cube fits (squeezes) in my Explore 35l V2 but because the bag isn't comfortable for me I haven't used it in that configuration. One other issue is where their laptop sleeve is. If you use a laptop then you have a rigid object pressing down against the top of any protruding camera bodies or lenses, and you also have the weight of the laptop as part of the "door" every time you change lenses. I used to think I preferred this location to have the weight and rigidity close to my back but now I actually much prefer having additional zippered storage there like Fstop does. Just as one example on a recent trip to Florida I took my ULA 30l Dragonfly with the Peak Design Large V2 cube stored under the seat with the following inside: Canon R5 + 100-500mm attached, RF 1.4x TC, Nikon ZF with 180-600mm + 1.4x TC attached, Sony 85mm f1.8 + E to Z adapter, Nikon 40mm f2, Nikon 28mm f2, DJI Mini 4 Pro and I think I even had the RF 70-200mm (stored vertically).

Been rooting for PD - Peter Dering - and his team for a long time. since meeting with a few of them about 10 years ago, where they described their ability to kickstart and outside financing. Zero interest financing in the form of prepayments from customers and never had to sell a share of the company to anyone - BRILLIANT !!!!

Thanks for the interview. What often goes seems to go unspoken about PD is that they are a B Corp (companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency), and have been since 2019. This is a big deal. I don't believe there is another company in the camera-focused space that meets (not to mention, exceeds), the criteria and eligibility for B-Corp status.

hello guys I'm Fabio from Brazil but I live in France :) awesome show again and I have a QUESTION pls :) I often go out to take shots on the evening of my friends playing paddle. And just this night I had a bad surprise when we went to a new place and I saw a lot of flickering on my shots. Most of the shots were kind of dark white others were kind of ok. I had a nikon z6 w the Z adapter and nikkor 70-200mm, wide open at 2.8 a shutter speed 1/1000 sec ISO 2000. I try to change to my old nikon D750 and using the same setting the flickering was still there. Then I realised that the issue was not the cameras but the light of the place.... and when i reduced the speed to 1/200 sec the flickering was almost gone... but then my photos didn't end up so nice because my shutter speed was kind of slow for an action sport like paddle. Do you have other solutions for issues like this? Are there other cameras that can better handle this flickering? tsk for the great show :)

At last a photo backback that does not have side access! I stopped using bags (15 years ago) with side access since after having a pickpocket try to taking a huge camera and lens combination from my bag while I was working photographing a very crowded Chinese New Year celebration in Sydney Australia. I obviously disturbed them because I and many other people just heard my camera loudly hit the concrete! This new bag might just be the replacement for an extremely old Crumpler photo backpack that I have had since then! 🥳 🏴🇸🇪🇹🇹

@TravelerNick

Camera GPS isn't new. Pro cameras tend to include it built in. Other cameras tend to support add on dongles or connections to your phone. Why don't all cameras come with this? $$$ Even if the GPS module costs $3 it's $3 on a low end camera by the time you factor in the various markups that $3 becomes a problem battery life. There is a slight battery draw. The sad thing is the cheap dongles have mostly disappeared. Forcing people to use their phone GPS

Firstly, what a ridiculous way for the CEO of a company to boast about the properties of a product. Absolutely thoughtless. Secondly, I feel that you’ve missed the mark here with your questioning just as you did with Adobe. Everyone knows that the reason they did kickstarter is because it’s better for their business. The question people are asking are moralistically why are they using kickstarter as a multi-million dollar company, when it should be used for what they used it for in the first place! A place to get funding for a great idea when you don’t have that funding as a small business/entrepreneur. By them using it, they are potentially taking that money away from others. Do they think that is ethically right? With respect, you need to be tougher with and less friendly with guests.

With that opening provided by Jordan, you guys don't spare the big bucks on production costs. Early memory recollections are a useful tool in psychotherapy of the Adlerian persuasion. Having someone discuss their first memory and the therapist recording and saving it, then as therapy progresses having the person talk about the first early memory often reveals a memory changed. Also in couples therapy, the first dating memory often will demonstrate the positive and negative dynamics in a marriage decades later.
