Many people follow Hindu Guru teachings but they don't officially follow Hinduism or say convert to Hinduism. Hindu population is severely declining world wide which is a huge concern for many Hindus like me if Hindu population didn't survive in this world then who will protect such great Hindu knowledge and propagate It in world for benefit of entire mankind in Future.

This talk speaks the absolute truth of our existence. God, Guru and Self are all one. In the beginning was the word........ and the word was without form......and nothing was made that was not made of God. The big play. God finds God. Nothing is not God. Only one. God has no opposite. If there is only one, then there is no use of fear. You are the one now and when you die you are the one. Nothing can be lost. Only ego. Which is not real. Ha Ha. Amor

" Shri Ramana Maharshi was one of the most significant people of this century. He was not a master; that’s why people don’t know him as they know George Gurdjieff or J. Krishnamurti. They don’t even know him as they know Sri Aurobindo or P. D. Ouspensky who were only teachers - profound teachers, but not mystics. “Ramana Maharshi was a silent pool of energy. Every morning he used to sit for a silent satsang, communion. He never talked much, unless asked something. Then too his answer was very short - having profundity, but you had to look for it. There was no explanation in it. His literature is confined to two, three small booklets. “His teaching was mostly to be in silent communion with the disciples. Naturally, very few people were benefited by him. But every morning he was sitting, people were sitting, and a cow would come and stand outside, putting her neck through the window, and she would remain standing there while the satsang lasted. It must have continued for years. People came and went, new people came, but the cow remained constant, coming at the exact time, never late. “As the satsang would disperse she would move away. “One day she did not appear, and Shri Ramana said, “Today satsang cannot be held, because my real audience is absent. I am afraid either the cow is very sick or she has died, and I have to go and look for her.” He lived on a mountain in the south of India, Arunachal. The cow belonged to a poor woodcutter who lived near the ashram. Ramana left the temple where they used to meet, went to the woodcutter and asked, ‘What happened? The cow has not come today for satsang.’ “The woodcutter said, “She is very sick and I am afraid she is dying, but she goes on looking out of the door, as if she is waiting for someone. Perhaps she is waiting for you, to see you for the last time. Perhaps that is why she is hanging around a little longer.” “Ramana went in and there were tears in the eyes of the cow. And she died happily, putting her head in the lap of Ramana Maharshi. This happened just in this century. Ramana declared her enlightened, and told his people that a beautiful memorial should be made for her. It is very rare for human beings to be enlightened; it is almost impossibly rare for animals to become enlightened, but the cow attained. “She will not be born again. From the body of a cow she has bypassed the whole world of humanity, and she has jumped ahead and joined with the buddhas. So once in a while - there are a few instances only - it has happened. But that cannot be called the rule; it is just the exception."

Shivabalayogi named Ramana Marharshi as one of the only "legit" yogis of this era saying there is a difference between a yogi and spiritual teacher and that was "A yogi is one who has attained Self realization through tapas" (sometimes translated as spiritual austerity or penance) which is meditation in the state of enlightenment (samadhi, no thoughts). He described tapas as at least 12 continuous hours of meditation every day, usually for several years, until one attains God realization or Self realization (he used the terms “God” and “Self” interchangeably in this respect). Google his name along with Ramana's for more info on the other yogi's he considered legit. Also, Alan Watts, a philosopher, writer, and speaker best known as an interpreter of Eastern philosophy for a Western audience often spoke very highly of Ramana Maharshi.

Every age needs a Guru for not because the old teachers are out-dated (Knowledge and truth are never out-dated). Every age needs a Guru for people to relate to the Guru and also ask questions and find out the answers, to correct us.. I have found such a Guru after listening to a lot of spiritual lectures given by many popular spiritual teachers.. He is Prem Siddartha.. He is the ultimate Vedanta teacher and who rationally and practically describes the philosophy for people like us.. so that normal people can understand basics before starting to ponder over higher knowledge.. He is modest. like a person next door..but his knowledge is unbelievable..and enlightening.. He himself quotes Sri Ramana Maharshi several times.. He says before you can even start thinking about what Ramana Maharshri told to know about oneself.. there is a lot of practice to be put in to start with.. it needs a lot of practice to even start where Ramana Maharshi asks people to start.

One of the very few Real Deals, on Earth. Many have had an experience of awakening few have drowned in consciousness never to return to ignorance and even fewer still have the ability to consciously transmit self to self . Ramana may have been one of those rare individuals that could “move “ consciousness from here to here in its purity ,using only a glance. Yes i am well aware of the immense contradiction that this so called transmission ability presents to the intellect/mind . The proof is in the experience and even then ,the HOW remains a mystery. A kind of cosmic contradiction but only to mind not to consciousness awake to itself.

Personally, in my mind, I replace "Self" with "Source"! when I read, and it helps me understand better. (for a western mind such as mind).

Fifteen years ago, after a twenty year search, I heard the word ," STOP." I started to burn, which went on for years, revealing all that was hidden. Today, I am still investigating this word, " STOP." In this moment, I realize this stopping. There is no more to say.

When one sees the face of serenity one becomes more serene. That's what I feel when I look at his face. The shaking that his head is manifesting is the tremendous current of sakti flowing through him. THE POWER OF PEACE IN ACTION. What a difference from the contradictory lectures of J KRISHNAMURTI . THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AN ENLIGHTENED BEING&AN INTELLECTUAL.

The only reason why such wisdom and guidance is present for the humanity today is because India is perhaps the only place in the world where freedom of thought has been existing from as long back as we know about it's history. The religious fanatics would have never let a spiritual master guide humanity anywhere else in the world with such freedom, Indian saints and spiritual masters are also great examples before us to realize that given freedom, a human can become God.

Sachin Sharma this is true. Self Realization has of course happened many times in the west and continues to do so. However, the west and also the middle east hasn't tolerated it very well.. Yes, india is going west and are caring less and less for their traditions. While westerners are traveling thousands of miles for short meetings with sages there..

The truth as it relates to conscious life has been revealed and it can and will transform mankind and the world when enough people see it. Search *_Truth Contest_* and read the top entry called "The Present". The truth can now flourish with the internet and reach almost all of mankind at about the same time.

Maharshi's teaching is the sweet breeze that blows away the doubts because the truth is that doubts are in the mind and when the mind is silent there are no doubts. In fact there is no mind!. Maharshi said, quit thinking and show me, where is the mind? There is only the Self.

During the 1960's I lived in an Ashram led by a man who had lived in Maharshi's Ashram and went from there to Tibet where he became a Qualong Llama. When the Chinese invaded Tibet He walked out of Tibet, and India, and then took ship to Australia where he lived with Mouni Sadhu. From there he returned to Milwaukee Wisconsin and started an ashram. There was a time when I had a lot of trouble with a fellow person who was also living in the ashram as I was. I prayed daily for God to resolve the problem. One day a group of 3 of us went to see a friend who was a M.D. in addition to a friend t5o the man who had lived with Mouni Sadhu. The MD was lying on a bed in a supine position. While He was lying there, his head did not change in appearance but all of the rest of his body changed in appearance to look exactly like the body of Maharshi, but had a shimmering quality to it. While the Doctor's body continued to appear as if it was Maharshi's body exactly as it appeared in one of the poses Maharshi was in in one of the books about Him, the doctor's lips moved and explained to me and the others, all of the behavior that had been causing me such mental and emotional anguish! I now understood and no longer felt distressed by it.

Consciousness is all that is - Advaita Vedanta Advaita Vedanta is one of mankind’s oldest philosophy that cannot be tied to a single religion or within geographical borders. It belongs to the entire mankind. Ramana Maharshi and Adi Sankara are modern religious scientists have explored Advaita Vedanta in their life and shared their learnings from their practise. Psychological Base : It is a modern psychological tool to deal with stress and sorrow and helps a man/woman be compassionate to a fellow living being. Associating with I, the ego is the source of all sorrow. You are not alone, you belong to the brotherhood called consciousness. When you have stress, sorrow don't carry it alone, understand that you belong to the brotherhood called consciousness that is eternally happy. Do not be powerless or feel your capability is limited. You belong to the powerful, the most intelligent brotherhood called consciousness. Meditation - Self Inquiry Who am I? Dhyana Yoga [BODY] Imagine yourself lying on the burning pyre, after death. What happens to you after death? Close your eyes and ask the question, ‘Who am I’ ? You are not the transient body that rots after death. [MIND] Are you the mind that generates the thoughts? When you close your eyes and meditate on a single entity, random thoughts or desires fill your mind. Chasing the thoughts or desires is sorrow. Freedom and happiness is in the thoughtless mind. When a thought or desire arises , kill the thought immediately with the question, To whom do the thoughts come for? The thoughts come to serve I, the ego, your name - your imagination of what you are. When there is no I, the name, the ego - the thoughts have no one to serve and they die. Stay in meditation with a thoughtless mind. Keep reminding yourself there is no I, the name, the ego. There is no body or mind. All that there is consciousness. When there is no I, the name, the ego, there is no you, this or that - the world disappears When is no subject, where is the object to desire for? All that there is consciousness. [HEART] The awareness that swells in your heart in the thoughtless mind is consciousness. Consciousness is all that is. Stay in the consciousness and be blissful and happy. Stay in the consciousness and be blissful and happy. How to stay in Consciousness? - Waking state - Karma Yoga Say Aham Brahmasmi - I am consciousness in both deep sleep, dream and in the waking state. Intellect is Consciousness, the supreme knowledge required to perform an action in the waking state. Intellect and Consciousness are one and same and not separate. Getting lost in the passion of work, without remembering I, the ego is the doer of the work is practising consciousness in the waking state. Also called Karma Yoga. Researchers, Scientists, Programmers, Engineers, Doctors and other professionals who get lost in the passion of work without realizing that they are the doer are practising consciousness in the waking state. Three Ethical values are prescribed to ward off associating I, the ego as the doer and to stay in Consciousness in the waking state. They are as mentioned in Sanskrit as the 3 Ds Damyata (Self Control), Datta (Charity) and Dayadhvam (Compassion). A person who knows he/she is Aham Brahmasmi (I am consciousness) in the waking state. identifies a fellow living being (human or non human) as one the same and as no different than himself as consciousness. is empathetic and compassionate towards another living being (human or non human) gets lost in his passion for work, does not credit I, the ego as the doer of the work nor personally own the fruits of the labor. He credits his work and the fruits of the labor to his intellect or consciousness, which are one and the same. takes the happiness, sorrows and pain with equanimity with the fact that his true state consciousness is always blissful and happy.
