These are probably the best sounding Rockstars I've heard, especially the BD. Nice grooves, too :) Pozdrawiam

It was my 1st brand new drum set in 1990. Almost always played pinstripes on it though. Disc it sounds amazing with the Vintage Emperor's. I remember this sounding way better than my buddies Pearl export

I also use remo pinstripe, but for this session I decided to use Emperors 🙂 It's from this session : kzitem.info/news/bejne/ubCnsmamcpygnmk

I restored/rehabbed a set like those. Thin shells and Sonor Champion knockoff lugs. Very well constructed except the tom mounts, which I replaced with Gibraltar parts. We here in the US don't have a good source for Diril cymbals. Those sound very good...

It's nice that you were able to restore your drums yourself. We have a good distributor of Diril Cymbals here in Poland. There is a lot to choose from. The Aslan series are very sandy and dynamic. Best regards ;-)

I’ve never heard of those cymbals. How do I find out more on the manufacturer? Nice kit, please don’t sell it. Very good and hard to find, worth keeping. Best of luck to you in all your future endeavors 🥁

Hi. These cymbals are from the Turkish company DIRIL. Here in Poland, we have a large selection at the distributor. My series is ASLAN. Regards :-)

@@sooliq thanks!! Love Tama Drums, especially the 80s-90s lines where even cheaper kits sounded like professional drum kits
