Thank you for these tips! I'm struggling with this very thing.

I will sure check my pressure points tomorrow. I just cleaned my clarinet and put it in it's cosy suitcase for a decent nap. Bessy is an old seventies lady (Buffet Crampon ES) so she needs special care you know. 😉 Thank Cally for this great tips. Kind regards, Nicholas. ☺️🎶

Cally Thanks very much for your valuable lesson today. In your opinion, is a nexk strap a good way to provide stability and support? Thanks again for the good work you do for all of us. Jim

I don't like the neck strap unless it is absolutely necessary. I think it changes embouchure pressure. But some people use it and sound just fine! I have one of the elastic ones around in case I need it.

I love these exercizes, but as someone with tendonitis, playing these every day caused it flare up especially in my pinkies. Im noticing it helping overall, but always have a lot of fatigue. Whats a way to avoid this type of strain and tension? If it helps, im a collegiate student in ensembles about for about 4 hrs a day and practice about 3 hrs a day.

Probably need more rest time in between sessions to recover? I also did a few sessions of physical therapy to learn how to strengthen other muscle groups in my hands/fingers, so maybe talk to your doctor? They had me using teensy resistance bands for my finger exercises!
