lol...As a modeller I would have been totally sold on the engines running footage was little motors in each wing ...There's no way my brain went to hair driers...Brilliant idea and one I shall use at some point...I mean how often would you turn your little motors on and off and yet still go to the trouble of buying motors and installing all the wiring and batteries when all you need is a hairdrier...Brilliant and so easy!

It was tricky trying to angle the wife's blowers on both sets of engines AND hold the phone to film it lol but as a cheap no nonsense alternative to wiring, batteries, switches, etc, works for me 😉

Job on fella!! Sweet looking Lanc. I just bought me two of the Airfix new tool 1/72 Lancs. Got something something a bit different planned for one of them. You've done a cracking job on yours and good work for going all out to get your colours looking right. I'm no expert on WWII stuff either but if it looks right, that's enough for me too. Top effort. Stay safe fella.

Cheers Andy. Yep the colours were the main stumbling block but patience and some real thinking brought it all together in the end. Cracking kit and hopefully it looks alright. Be well. Later bud

I'm getting the HK Lancaster for Christmas. I considered the Tamiya kits, but I wanted all the extra work that will come with the HK innards. I haven't built an aircraft since the early 80s, but then until July this year, I hadn't built anything for 35 years, and I had never used an airbrush before either. The question is, can I finish the Tamiya Dragon Wagon and RFM Sherman M4A3E8 before Christmas? It all depends on the Sherman's tracks I suspect. 😊😊😊

I built both of Revell's 1/72 Lancasters, but have been looking at Airfix's in that scale. I would get Tamiya's 1/48 Lancasters, but those things are huge. As it is, I'm trying to find room for my 1/32 Thunderbolt and Skyraider.
