Howdy! Welcome bank to the channel. Today we have a kit from Japan, Tamiya 1964 Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate “Frank”. This I believe is one of the first five aircraft kits that Tamiya made. The signature is Shigeru Komatsuzaki`s. He was born in 1915 and had been a leading artist and illustrator since 1930s through 2000s, had produced thousands of works in comics, magazines, books, posters and plastic kit box arts. The Ki-84 Hayate box art belongs to his early series of works entrusted from Tamaiya company`s plastic kit series in the early 1960s.
