Idyllic location for the video. Truck looks great, could benefit from low down weight perhaps, less tipping over, etc. Well done!

Great location lads! And the Bronco performed surprisingly well for what it is. Always been a Tamiya fan but bought quite a few different 'crawler/trail trucks since lockdown. I love the original CC01 chassis but that definitely isn't for crawling as such. Just bought my 2nd CC02 and when I build it I am going to try to get more articulation and a little more ground clearance to help it be more capable. A few of us just go out, relax and take the crawlers/trail trucks out. No competition, just gather in the woods, on the beach or up on the moorland and just walk with the trucks. A great way just to shut off from 'everyday life' Oh... and with you on the LiPo thing too 😀

@@RCsoandso I've had no complaints with running a Grasshopper in the grounds and they don't seem to mind kids with footballs either. I imagine if you're not ripping up the bowling green it should be ok 😁. There is a short woodland trail by a river which is usually quiet.

@@RCsoandso it’s by far the best place in our obviously shared locality, was up there on Saturday with one of the crawler groups, never that far from the carpark should you break something, but with a hugely varied terrain , from easy to hard work. You will love it! I recommend the Aspalls cider…

i'm wondering if tamiya has a chassis that can do realistic crawling like other independent brands are having. the car here is jerky and bouncy like a toy, it lacks the gracefulness that other competitions have. the video is good and the narration is humorous but the car is disappointing.

I don’t think Tamiya really lends itself to crawling but again they don’t do anything specifically well, but can give most things ago so maybe you know if you want to go down that route. They are a bit like a Kellogg’s variety pack, enough to try but not enough to satisfy 🤔😂👍
