Thank you for a very well made and edited build video as always! The replacement bumper, steel protective bar, or "bull bar" as they call it in Australia, really add to the Pajero. Not only tough and good looking, it is practical too, it protects the headlights on the demanding trails. With the bull bar the Pajero is transformed to a even more an explorers and adventurers rugged 4X4. The combined roll cage and roof rack is a quality product too, and fits perfectly to the detailed hard plastic body, making the Pajero CC01 even more realistic looking, especially with luggage and supplies tied down. The nicely selected tires/rims combo completes the successful transformation of this car. It will be easy to mistake this car for a real 1:1 Pajero in the drive video you hopefully will make :). Cheers.

Question- is it possible to paint the sidewall lettering on the tires and If so what would you use? Amazing work on the Pajero👍
@1darnright19

Tamiya actually sold a set of tires like the ones from the kit that came with white lettering preprinted on. I’m not sure if they are still in production as I bought a set off of eBay. I do believe it is possible to paint the lettering. Perhaps a paint marker.

Great video very informative. I have a similar front bumper for my CC-01 but found the two screws kept coming loose so took it off until I decide/workout how to fit it better. As for the snorkel I think I would have glued and then screwed it in place the amount of times I roll my Unimog LOL.

Another great video but I would have done a couple of things differently. When mounting the cage. Cover the body in some type of masking tape to prevent scratching up the paint. Also, when mounting the snorkel. You need to remove paint where the epoxy contacts the body. Right now you literally just glued it to the paint. I'm questioning how long that would last. Otherwise great work and I'm looking forward to a running video of this.

I use the same MST tires but have slight issues when turning in or when going backwards. They are touch the body making a scratching noise. I guess to make it perfect a little bit of the wheel case (just the edges) needs to be taken away by a Dremel or so. Do you have the same problem Matteo? I still run the stock shocks with the stiffer srpings in the front and the softer springs in the back. I saw that you were not using the original springs. Which one's are you using?

Is epoxy glue good for gluing lexan sheets together?
@Matteomeier
6 жыл бұрын
WaterTester It works, but it’s not the best solution. After drying epoxy is very hard and not flexible, so it can break of from the flexible lexan. I recommend to use Shoo Goo glue, this keeps flexible after drying and works very well with lexan.

If you want some more scale looks I can recommend the 1.55 stamped wagon wheels and Dirt Grabbers. A real pain in the behind to put together but looks great and is very soft and grippy. And one complete wheel fits just perfect behind the spare cover - so it looks just right. The stock wheels in my opinion are much to big. I put them on my Tundra instead :P The MST wheels do look nice though :)
