Lovely job. Probably more reliable than the real thing as well

Excellent build! Any extra details added or is it completely out of the box? I finally scored this sweet kit not too long ago, but I haven't opened it and kept it sealed 'cause I don't know when I'll get to it. Wanted this for so long as it would be a good companion piece for the 79 Ferrari 312T4 I built years ago - But this baby looks way more detailed for some reason! Also for those rivet counters out there who are all about 100% accuracy: You can only build Arnoux's car as shown unless your into scratch building. I was thinking about doing Jabouille's car, but the rear view mirrors on his RE-20 are set up differently as they are molded into the bodywork area of the cockpit. Tamiya unfortunately didn't make any provisions for that. . .

Totally out of the box. I like to make the kits as they come. Its curious but my real cars and motorcycles are exactly out of the box as they come from the brand. Any modification or sticker.

Hi, congratulations for the great video… I have a question about chrome part. Do you prefer remove chome and then repaint with a chrome color or do you use directly the chrome part? In this last situation how do you treat the part cut from the sprue ?
@flomartinezpm8586
Жыл бұрын
It depends on the quality of the chrome. Normally the part from the sprue i retouch with alclad or vallejo. If the quality is bad i prefer to retire and paint with alclad

Hi again… I have another question for you.. Do you use primer for every parts or only for the body and most important part? Before use primer o color do you wash the sprue with soap?
@flomartinezpm8586
Жыл бұрын
I only give primer from zero paints to all parts. And vallejo black primer for metallic colors

Very well done in every way. These big scale Tamiya kits are truly on another level. I wish they had done some drag racing subjects. They would be legendary kits.
