hello thanks for the comment.. it's very fun. I used cylindrical yellow LEDs 2mm 8 mcd 70°20mA 2.1V for the flashing ones and the same model (other colors) for the borders. all in series climbs of 4 because I have a power supply of 9V. I hope I helped you and thank you again. too cool that you like. I am currently on the YAMATO project with motorized turrets. not easy hi hi hi..

Really good job building this model. I am building this model right now and want to add lighting to the tower and hangar deck. Can you give me some advise on how to do this? Thank you for your time Mr. Moi

Hello. first of all thank you for watching my video and it's very nice. Feel free to share if it helps. For lighting, I used LEDs of 2.0 / 2.2 / 2.1 / 2.5 W with 20 mA of consumption. I put them in series to keep the 20 mA and I did the math for a power supply of 9W. (For information the bridge has about 86 led) and the tower 3 led up and 6 blue down. always in a single 9W power supply. it's a pleasure to answer. I hope I answered. if any other questions .. am here. greetings (I use a translator so sorry if not correct)

for the lower hangar bridge, I made it 100% private, with pictures taken on the internet. (nothing exists on the market to my knowledge to make the lower deck) just a little imagination and some modifications

@@imagineandrealize2245 I am ordering the Trumpeter Nimitz kit along with the aircraft for the Airwing. I really like your landing LED lights flowing down the deck. How did you achieve that?

Hi how are you. First of all, thanks for watching my little video. it makes me happy that you liked. To answer your question, for LEDs, I used what is called a (chase). 7 electronic components. To explain you more quickly, I found you a little video on KZitem and I send you the link. kzitem.info/news/bejne/wpmYrKhqcIVmdYY I hope I helped you a little bit. give me news. Greetings and good editing for the model.

What motors did you use for the radar rotation?

I used 2 micro reduction motors I am in Switzerland but I give you the link and description of the motors for reference www.conrad.ch/fr/p/micro-moteur-g-700-g700-40-tr-min-5-248782.html and I connected them to a potentiometer to have the right rotation speed, thank you for watching the video and feel free to share. I did it just for fun. I am on a project for a Japanese battleship and I want to motorize the turrets. it's complicated because not a lot of space. but i'm working on let me know if this helped you or if you need more details

@@imagineandrealize2245 thank you so much. It look’s similar to the motors used on the Polar Lights 1/350 TOS Enterprise lighting kit.
