The app sounds fanatastic, but also incredibly ambitious. If they can pull it off, it will be a game changer, and potentially set a new precedent for the TTRPG scene, and VTT as a whole.

I will definitely await a detailed look of the Dragonblade class from this setting when you get the chance. They definitely appear VERY strong to me.

Oh, and they are, be sure about that. But they will not really outshine the other party members. They can feel very powerful on the situations they are well suited for, but they also have some downsides. For example, they are not really good at "nova damage", but they can be very durable or have a very good consistent damage depending on the subclass.

@@michaelalves8900 I actually had a question about their draconic powers. Their draconic powers can be used once per turn, and costs “one action”. Does this mean it can be an action, bonus action, or reaction to use? Or is it just your full main action to use, and can’t be used with bonus action or reaction?

@@brannenpfister2579 Hi Brannen, in 5E, when an ability says "as an Action", it means the main action of the turn, the same you could use to make an attack. You can't use an ability that requires "an Action" using a bonus or reaction. Yet there is some Dragonblade powers that does not require "Action" to activate, but a bonus. Yet there is a rule that specify that the Dragonblade can only make one Draconic Power per turn, so you can't use a Bonus Action Draconic Power and a Action Draconic Power on the same turn. That is in place to balance the class, as without this Draconic Powers would need to be weaker. Hope this answer your question.

I watched Jorphdan's video on it earlier and found myself a bit intrigued by the campaign setting. Now having watched yours as well, I'm still intrigued by it. I love the boxed set approach to their releasing it as well. It makes it more appealing to me.

The setting seem quite original. The whole background story of dragons surging from bloodshed to deliver justice is a great cog to add to any story and move it forward. I think I'll get the boxset as soon as I can once it comes out. Thanks for bringing this to my radar. Been watching a lot of your videos lately, basically catching up with the 5e and d&d world again and your opinions are always welcome.

The work excites me more than the world. Most board game worlds are some reflavored generic fantasy, by design as mass market appeal is necessary. But this definitely looks like it’s being made by people who play this game and know what they want from a product like this as opposed to just a company trying to cash in on 5e hype train. Also their art is stupid good

I don't recall my full process on naming my homebrew world. But I went through a lot of iterations. And ended up calling the planet my 5th edition campaign is set on "Tenaris" and specifically the main continent of "Aranon". I see these Tanares related things every so often on community and posts, and it makes me feel like I've stolen the name. When in actuality, thought I made up a cool unique name. Seems that these days, not alot is new anymore. Even when you think you made it up.

Warmachine(Iron kingdoms) Roleplaying games came from d&d and became a wargame and they just released 5e content. They are steam punk based I believe. Their gaming system was amazing but I think they let in some bad eggs and the company kind of went down hill recently imo.

@@Nildread Yeah, it really does. Sure, here it looks like the Blessed Isle Exploded. But, we have the islands to the west, and the largest body of water on the continent. Which is the same. We have the deserts exclusively alongside the mountainous regions to the south. Which is the same. We have an (albeit small) forested area to the East (but the only one on THIS map), even though it looks like Lookshy exploded. The entire shape of the landmass is nearly identical; one map could be the other on a different timeline of the same globe. I can't believe I had to explain this. People will nonsensically argue about the most basic stuff. I'm sorry, if you cant see this you're blind.
