It's not about money it's about( LOVE ) I don't know how it got so far away from love to money for the love of money is the root of all evil the Bible says .THE WORD OF GOD SAYS..... . AND THE LORD SAID THAT HE WON'T TAKE LESS THEN YOUR LOVE SWEET LOVE GOD IS LOVE AND HE GAVE US THE LOVE

This was back in the mid to late 80's when country music decided to get back to basics . The exact same thing needs to happen now. Remember when the likes of Eddie Rabbit,Anne Murray,Crystal Gayle,Ronnie Milsap, and Kenny Rogers ruled the charts? A lot of their recordings are out of print today . While George Strait, and all the other neo traditionalists are still recording today . True country stands the test of time .

My date & I were walking around the fairgrounds & we ran smack dab into Ms. Tucker Tanya was really sweet, & very friendly to my date & I, I was layn it on pretty thick for a star struck kid, & the girl I brought to the fair was a Tanya fan too. But man did she get ever get really mad at me, I can't remember her name, but she never spoke to me again after that night, & I went home alone. It was worth it, fer sure! True Story, I swear it! Great song!. I'd give a pretty penny for her dress. Tanya was at her best here in every way.

A #1 hit from Tanya Tucker (featuring Paul Davis & Paul Overstreet) on the Country & Western charts. It was the 893rd #1 C&W song of the Rock Era.

the major difference between then and now is the distinction between voices... today all the MEN sound the exact same pretty much but back in the 70 and 80's you didn't have to guess who was singing when a new song came on the radio.. you instantly could tell it was Tanya, Dolly, Crystal, or my fav Barbara Mandrell.... I love Tanya's Growly voice.. I got to see her toward the end of her heyday, but still she was awesome.... she even dedicated a song to friends who had just lost their dad..
