Hey everybody! Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with Tap Into Technique. The premise behind this lesson traces all the way back to when I was a Van Halen-obsessed teenager and working on my technique. Somehow, I stumbled onto a series of tapping-focused exercises that I eventually organized and fleshed out into the basic idea behind this lesson, which I've shared with hundreds of guitar students over the years - so let's dive in!
This episode revolves around performing scales on a single string using a tapping technique. The ideas I've shared here involve both three and four-point tapping, which we're transferring to every string on the guitar and shifting around the fretboard.
Needless to say, if you're looking for a technique-boosting lesson, would like to improve your tapping technique while also exploring the fretboard, or maybe you're just curious about what all the fuss is about - this lesson is totally for you!
