Im glad to see you enjoying the rewards of all the work you have put in on this channel. You have more than earned it. You have given so many of us ideas ,as well as provided us with quality entertainment over the years, i cant speak for anyone else, but i can say imo, you have the best car audio demo channels out there! I do have a question, i know on some cars ,grounding from the front is nessecary, but can you tell a difference on the voltmeter? I have mine grounded in the back shock towers in my civic, and i have a much better voltage reading vs running longer grounds up to the front chassis. But my civic doesnt have a full frame like an explorer either. I am speaking of my back batteries, not everything. I origanally had eveything grounded up front, but i was dropping voltage and getting hot ground cables , maybe from the length? Maybe i should have added another ground run,idk, but keeping my ground runs shorter for my back batteries and my amps have really helped. I was always told to ground at one point only, but im not having any noise issues doing this way

How are the grounds efficient being so long (going from the front to rear)?
@OrionHCCC26
2 жыл бұрын
Resistance is extremely low for that length of cable.
@JacobViral
2 жыл бұрын
Long isn’t efficient but it still helps
@PutYaHandsUp
2 жыл бұрын
The bigger the wire, the less resistance it will have. So, even though they are longer, they are still efficient because of how thick they are. Also, it is basically traveling the same distance because it would go through the chassis regardless lol.

jacob my question is why did you remove the dashboard of your truck
@JacobViral

3 years ago I had my dash in and it started falling apart from all the pressure and bass, so I removed it for more cabin space, louder overall system, and less flex inside the cabin.
