The guy Vietnam guy literally had a bunch of stuff. I shot a Kel Tec KSG (wasn't actually impressed like I thought I'd be), a Winchester 1300 (was my favorite thing he had that I shot), and I literally shot a S&W Model 29 and a Desert Eagle .44 magnum back to back. I also shot a .45 ACP derringer that was horrifically painful to shoot and on the way home both me and my friend were favoring our hands cuz of the pain we felt from the recoil being transmitted into them. Taran Butler is a master in pistolcraftmanship, no question about it. Back in the early 80's Gaston Glock, a genius, invented a total revolutionary handgun, starting with a hammerless striker-fired pistol with a metal slide mounted on a polymer frame. That was amazing! And for decades, Glock kept their trademark patents going... until they eventually expired. Thereafter, other gun manufacturers started to develop their own platforms, sort of Glock based, but with noticeable improvements, things like better sights, smoother trigger pull weights, great ergonomics, and so forth. Glock choose not to listen to the users, and did not evolve much, unfortunately. However, fortunately, others reputable gun companies did pay attention, so they started producing handguns like the Walther PDP, CZ P10, Sig Sauer M17/P320, Canik METE, Heckler & Koch VP9, Beretta APX Gen 2, Arex Delta Gen 2, Smiths & Wesson M&P 2.0, FNH 509 tactical, and so forth and so on, that fiercely compite with Glock. Only die-hard Glock fan loyalists believe that Glock is "perfection," "the #1," but the truth is, they are stuck in the past, denying the new reality: Glock has plenty of competition and it is not #1. And just because Glock has been around for 4 decades that doesn't make it "the best," but actually the oldest. Nowadays, there are way better modern handgun designs than Glock. Whoever doesn't see it, it is a "blind fanatic," a.k.a. "fanboy." Last, Glock is a great pistol, I own one, out of 15 handguns 😎
