Weve had a few people mention how gold the fish were. The Derwent River is just such an amazing fishery and every Bream has different celebrations from shining silver to chocolate brown and black. We were so wrapped up in the day we didn't even notice how the fish looked that much, just how big they were so it was nice to look back on the footage and relive the day.

How do you get involved in comps around Tassie?

Hey Nic. Several clubs around the state run competitions and regularly post their info on Facebook. I would start with the Launceston Angling Club as their events are very family friendly and include shore based prizes. Also take a look at the tas bream classics page. Their rules are aligned with the ABT comps so offer the most competitive environment whilst still being supportive and friendly to novice competitors. This was our first bream classic event (and only second tournament) and loved it
