The retention strap goes under the sheath material and around the taser itself once you try that you will find it retains it very well...In other words tuck the strap under the tip of the sheath so its making full contact around the taser...

You should mention how you can tase an assailant at 15 feet and still contact stun another one with the same cartridge or remove the cartridge and dry stun them to save money. It can handle up to 50 times of 30 second bursts, in case you want to wear the bad guy down. Remember that in order for the prongs to work, they both have to land on the bad guy...which doesn't always happen, it's a good idea to carry an extra cartridge to reload. You have to spend an extra few dollars to get the code to turn on the Taser by calling them and passing a quick background check. You can NOT carry Tasers in Hawaii, Mass., NY, NJ, Rhode Is. and Wash. D.C. or on certain properties like Police Stations our Courthouses...use some common sense when carrying, don't pull a Taser on someone with a gun, you die from bullets not Tasers.

if you're concealing correctly no one should notice you're carrying. And thinking that a taser is more effective than a firearm is laughable.

Very nice video. I had a question for you. I wanted to get one of these for my disabled daughter. I was all set to purchase when I started seeing a very high amount of negative reviews due to battery failure. Although these are Lipo batteries, it is not a rechargeable pack. While the company states 2 to 3 years for the lifespan, people are reporting more like 6 months. I was wondering what your experiences were. Thank you

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I am glad that you have not had to use it. My concern was that I wanted to get a C2 for my daughter (who is wheelchair bound). I have read a lot overviews from people that have not used their taser either, but the battery dies after 3 to 5 months. I'm just trying to figure to what to do.I really appreciate your input. Thank you.

Hi my wife and I both have one after we had some brake into are home when we were sleeping. I love this taser but the activation button should be different because I had it in my pocket when I got home to take it out it opened the activation trigger spot and I got two very sharp prongs in my left and yes I definitely went down. The company was awesome they said just fill out a police report and send them a copy and they would send me a new taser I said thank you I only need a cartridge they sent 3 .

I agree with you saying that you don't carry to kill but to stop a threat, but tasers are not effective 100% of the time, a person could have thick clothes that stop the prongs or maybe they are on drugs, or maybe the battery is just dead, a firearm will go through most clothes and is going to make some type of impact on somebody coming at you it's going to hurt like hell when you get shot probably and will probably make you flinch at least, which if they immediately shoot, they will probably miss because of that flinch, that might happen, might not. But a taser doesn't always work for multiple reasons, a firearm probably will work and might even make someone drop in an instant. Tasers don't always work, firearms work almost 100% of the time.

TheRedGamerFPV You’re right. I don’t carry one any more because I’m over 21 now. But not everyone else gets to though, or can carry a gun everywhere. This just explains options 🙂
@Duran762

@@Shawner556 Hes not absolutely right. A non lethal option is still important to have. You do not want to go to court because you killed someone that wanted to beat you up but you had a gun on you. If you had a taser the situation would be different. If you had pepper spray it would have been different. A gun only solves against another gun or a knife. Thats it. The OP is not correct in that sense.

I have a few questions: You mentioned that you're trained to look for weapons on people. What type of training do have in order to do that effectively? Also, you mentioned that shooting someone doesn't instantly stop them. Have you ever shot someone or have you witnessed a shooting where that happened? You seem confident that the Taser will absolutely stop someone regardless of any circumstance. Have you ever used the Taser on someone? Thank you.
@Shawner556

"You mentioned that you're trained to look for weapons on people" I've received no formal training for seeing guns on people's person. I'm a firearm and self-defense enthusiast, so bulges in the clothing, also known as "printing" is something that stands out very easily to me. Have you ever shot someone or have you witnessed a shooting where that happened? I've never shot anyone, and I have not witnessed any shootings in person. I have seen explicit videos of people being shot, usually from police dash cameras or the like -- one of which, you can find here on KZitem, where a deputy shot an intoxicated subject at least once in the stomach, who still continued to fight, and eventually killed the officer (very VERY graphic, please use discretion when you watch this): Murder of Deputy Kyle Dinkheller - Laurens County, GA I have never used my Taser on any person. Feel free to search "Taser" here on KZitem, you're bound to find a video showing their effectiveness on a person. Since creating this video, however, I have seen one instance where the taser has completely failed, I presume because of it not contacting muscle tissue in the subject (he was pretty fat and old): Taser Fail!!! Thanks for watching, and let me know if I can help you with anything else :)

You are showing picture of the X26C when talking about the "law enforcement taser", and not the X26 who's the actual law enforcement taser. They are two different models. The X26C is for civilian use.They look alike but dont have the same fonction and use different lenght of wire.

On a side note, why arnt the law enforcement models legal for civilians? Yeah I suppose there's a chance of death but I would think your chances of survival would be much better than a gun! no one is "shooting to injure"....if you're pulling the trigger on a fire arm you're shooting to kill because if you dont the attacker can take your gun and kill you....talk to a few cops or take a self defense class...they'll straighten ya out....introducing deadly force into the equation there is no middle ground
@Shawner556
9 жыл бұрын
coleslaw7000 I agree, you are using deadly force when shooting someone. However, you don't shoot someone with the intention of taking their life, you shoot them with the intention of stopping them from taking yours or another innocent person's, and you keep pressing the trigger until they stop. They may die because of it, they may not, but all you can do is place your shots in anatomically correct spots that will incapacitate someone by means of pain, destruction, blood loss or death.
@coleslaw7000
9 жыл бұрын
Shawner556 I am shooting them with the intention of stopping them from taking my life by ending theirs....and so is every law enforcement professional using a firearm loaded with anything other than less than lethal projectiles...if deadly force is being exercised there is no half measure...i'm telling you...GO TALK TO A PROFESSIONAL....dont take my word for it....go talk to a cop about where they are trained to aim....they are NOT trained to aim at your legs...nor will a self defense class tell you to aim for a persons legs... In Virginia there isn't castle doctrine so for me to even have pulled the trigger, hell, even drawn a gun and pointed it at someone, as a civilian (say if someone broke into my house) I need to be able to prove in court that my life was being threatened....so....just to bring it back around for ya....there's no "shot to stop the threat" at that point....if MY gun goes off it's aimed dead center mass with the intention to kill...i'm not alone in this....talk to some cops, talk to some people that have training, dont take my word for it....
