Ryan Day was actually spot on with the $13 million estimate to win a championship. $550,000 annually for the top 25 most talented players but you know the QB will end up with a few million. Pretty much telling the boosters and local businesses to pay up or get left behind because all it takes is a phone call and a kid transfers.

I met some people (in their 40s) at a bar once discussing life and "high school coolness" came up. I said that it doesn't matter any more and they enthusiastically objected to my opinion. In a both a surprised and disgusted inflection, "yes it does! Were you cool in High School?" Me: "I was homecoming king and lettered in four sports." Them: "Well that still matters!" I guess I should be walking around telling people in the second sentence of my greeting, "I was homecoming king."

123k per player if they have at least 105 players on a roster. That’s pretty good to me just to play football in college. That’s what $13 million can get you!! Now for your top recruits if they feel they deserve more make them incentive based, so they have to earn it, not just handed to them because they are “5 star guy”.

Not sure if you know this...OSU doesnt pay players to come there they tell them if you come here we will get you some NIL deals. So when he says 13 million he means the local businesses should look out for the players with NIL deals. OSU Clemson Alabama Ga are all doing this. They refuse to pay for play but will help get them endorsement deals. Thats at least my understanding of it
