I kinda like when tattoos age too, not only because it gives them a "history" vibes, but also because they look smooth af :D

Do you only have traditional tattoos? Apparently this style age the best but I like more delicate tattoos so I'm hesitant

i loved this video✨ i recently got my first tattoo & to be honest, i don’t really care about my tattoo/future tattoos ageing because they are a part of my skin & they’ll just age with me🎉 of course i want them to look good but it’s just something i’m not thinking about right now, i’ll take care of it when it’s time🤟🏼 i also kinda like how tattoos look when they’ve aged a bit! lots of love xx

I have both my palms done, ones fresh and only a week old and the other is almost a year old. The year old one has a few fall outs but majority it’s good considering. The fresh one will probally heal better then the old one though since the ink was drilled in more. Either way in life everything fades and changed, you just gotta adapt to it. I’ll love when I’m old and tattooed no mater how they look

Ohh, wow. How was it? I am planning on getting my palms tattooed too, soon. Right? There are some spots on my tattoos that have scars and ink fallen out, but I even like it, gives the tattoo some value and life feeling to it if you know what i mean? :D

Barbara Crane haha ya I get what you mean... The palms kill so bad ! Like they’re probally one of the most painful I’ve had aside from my collarbones ... I have my chest done and even the chest itself was fine but I’d say palms and collarbones are the worst. Donno which is worst cause palms only last an hour so you can just about get through it 😭😭.

No pain no gain eh :’). Should definitely get one though. Did you have any artist in mind or a design for the tattoo? My palms are probally my most favourite tattoo I have.

I'm so surprised how little info there is on tattoos aging, and everybody using the exact same pictures found online. It's like, not even tattoo artists seem to do some research with the people they have tattooed themselves? Cause this ultimately seems of major importance. Also, I wouldn't care too much how a tattoo will look when I'm 80 as I will be old as well, but more how it will look when I'm 45 if I took the tattoo at 25. Then I would definitely care more.

I’m worried about my tattoos becoming blurred and the lines ‘bleeding’ more than fading. I only have 2 tattoos at the moment but get a new one on 9th June. Can anyone offer me advice on how to determine the best size to have the tattoo based on the best for ageing. I’m getting an outline of 4 elephants with a little dot work as shading on my forearm. I will talk to my artist about this but am curious to hear other people’s opinion. Great video as always! ☺️

Hi. If you go to a professional tattoo artist, that knows his tattooing technique well, you should not be worried about your tattoos 'bleeding'. Because a good artist, will not over work the skin and not damage it so over the healing process it heals well and the tattoos further ageing process looks good. A unprofessional artist could over work and damage the skin that could cause not only a bad healing process but the look of the tattoo would be scarred. IF the tattoo it self is well done and taken care of you shouldn't be afraid of it. I mean, tattoos do age and maybe 'bleed' a little over time as well as fade, but that is only natural and not that drastic. A tattoo would not 'bleed' that bad that after a couple years it would become unrecognisable. SO in my opinion, you have nothing to worry about.

I like the look of aged tattoos on other people. They look like they're part of their skin.

Tattoos don't disappear or fade away. They lose their luster as time goes on or as you get sun (sun will fade anything from the paint on your car to your tattoos). Tattoo ink diffuses through your skin as they age. That means they don't really fade away, they actually spread out through your skin. White ink is really bad for anyone who isn't super pale. Also, sun yellows white ink really bad. The best thing you can do for your tattoos is to take very good care of them when they're healing and then keep them covered when you're in the sun. But small detail and very heavy black will diffuse through your skin as you age no matter what you do. Small lettering and small detail will close up and there is nothing you can do about it. That's simply how the ink reacts as your skin change over time. Palm tattoos will also always have fallout no matter what you do because the skin on areas that have a lot of abrasion (bottoms of feet, palms, knees, elbows, etc) replace the layers of skin a lot more frequently than any other areas.

Funny thing in your "Judging celebrity tattoos" video you talked about the hand tattoo that Lady Gaga had on her back and how unnatural the hand's position was, yet the hand on your shirt in this video has an unnatural pose too. I get one is a tattoo and one is on a shirt, but seems like there is a double standard when you like one and not the other.
6 жыл бұрын
Osoro Shidesu the hands design on the t-shirt is not so unnatural and in fact is a very classical design. And there was a reason why i did not like that tattoo... the hand it self can be as crooked as it wants as long as it is proportional and anatomically correct. I didn’t like that tattoo also beause it was poorly done and not because it was a “hand tattoo”. And if I don’t like one hand drawing or design, doesn’t mean, I can’t like a different design/drawing of a hand. And because I did not like that Lady Gagas tattoo, doesn’t mean I don’t like her or other her tattoos.

Barbara Crane If you tried to emulate the hand pose on your shirt, it won't work. But I do now understand that you like it because it's in a traditional tattoo design. I wasn't trying to be confrontational. Just confused. I hope you make more "Judging or reviewing celebrity tattoos". Discussing the quality and execution of a tattoo is interesting.
