In the last game if you were concerned about animating too many lands with tatyova, you could also target the lands animated with nissa to pump them up to a 6/6 creature which is a neat interaction

I think using the stained glass lands over snow covered is the right call, however, I’d also add the snow dual to the deck for a forest. It’s a forest island 🌳 🏝 so it’ll still get the bonus mana from Nissa. Also I’ve added in the indestructible land from the Amonket set. I’ve thought about adding in Akroma’s Memorial. What card draw would you suggest to use?
@haveiszalfaroqie1628

I think Toski can take over the card draw department, cutting away Kogla. Another one that comes to mind is Silver Scrutiny, but not attacking with 3/3 fliers is always not going to feel good, I guess.
@AkodoNoEyes
2 жыл бұрын
@@haveiszalfaroqie1628 Kogla is part of a combine with Witness. You can use Kogla’s ability to return a human to hand to give him Indestructible which in turn allows you to replay the Witness to get back time warp etc. Can also combo with Primal Command. I added in Rimewood Falls, Cascading Cataracts, and Toski. I’m also considering adding in Ghost Quarter to target an indestructible land to keep searching out basics using the cards that let you play lands from the graveyard. Can also work with Field of Ruin.

@@LegenVD that’s fair but considering odds are it’ll be fetched up by Into the North figured it didn’t matter much. I just won a game against a control deck by repeatedly playing Field of Ruin haha. The perks of thinning a lot of basics. Also I added in the 6 mana Jace from the Ixalan set (the planeswalker deck version) because he has a +1 ability that untap all your creatures so I could attack then untap all the man lands and then cast stuff. LVD, I've wanted to ask forever, but never catch your videos early enough to hope for a reply, but I think now is my chance. Do you cut out the boring games of Mazes End/Cultivator Colossus/Last Sliver combo decks, or do you just never play against it? Do you think Tibalt's Trickery should be banned in H-Brawl because of how boring and slow the games against that deck are? I play the deck when I just want to get my 250 gold first win, then log out. My winrate on that deck is nuts and I've min-maxed it to the point where it is the fastest it can be, while still having over 40% untapped lands, and brings all the land effects that could potentially save you from your opponent and/or Tibalt milling your mazes end. The deck is not fun to pilot and it surely isn't fun to play against, watching someone play 80+ lands over 4 minutes is awful. But it's the most consistent win deck I've ever played in H-Brawl and sometimes I just want that gold from the first win and then I'm done for the day.

@spencerbell8386
2 жыл бұрын
@@jorgamund07 it’s not pointless- if you want to power snow synergies you have to play snow lands which means you must adhere to the snow land power level. For instance, if your MonoG deck is running Faceless Haven you’ll be able to easily activate it with your Snow-Covered Forests. This is contrary to multi-color decks like Temur or Grixis who would not be able to activate Faceless Haven due to the fact that those colors require non-Snow Land manabases. This is because the Snow Land power level is lower than the typical land power level i.e. Snow Lands are typically mono-colored, come into play tapped…
@jorgamund07
2 жыл бұрын
@@spencerbell8386 In other words, there aren't any snow triomes. True enough. But that doesn't make the snow keyword any less meaningless, considering identical dual and basic lands exist. You could save a lot of card printing by just putting a clause on faceless haven, "you can't use mana generated from triomes to activate this".

I like how cards which can get other cards out of the graveyard function in this deck. Creatures and lands which become creatures are likely to end up in the graveyard, mostly due to the opponent not doing nothing. I didn't like blue green self mill from Midnight hunt/Crimson vow. Self mill would end up doing more harm than good more often than not. Throwing cards away isn't the point, recycling them is.
