MUTTON TAWA CHOPS:
Tawa chops preparation:
1 kg mutton chops
1 table spoon garlic paste
1 table spoon ginger paste
2 cinnamon sticks
2 black cardamom
2 green cardamom
8-10 whole black pepper
Tawa chops dipping mixture:
1 cup yogurt
½ cup cream
1 table spoon chilli flakes
1 table spoon Kashmiri red chilli
1 table spoon chilli powder
1 table spoon salt
1 table spoon coriander powder (dhania)
1 table spoon cumin powder (zeera)
1 table spoon fennel seed (saunf)
1 table spoon black pepper powder
½ table spoon turmeric (haldi)
4 whole red chilli
4 whole green chilli
1 lemon juice
DIRECTION:
- In a pressure cooker add oil followed by the given spices and the mutton chops and let them pressure cook for 10 minutes
- Once the chops are being cooked lets prepare the dipping mixture
- Mix all the given dipping mixture ingredients and prepare the mixture
- Once the chops are pressure cooked take them out and save all the liquid
- Place the tawa on the stove, add some oil and butter, then dip the chops in the prepared mixture and cook on the tawa for 10-15 minutes while adding more mixture as you go. The chops will be ready once the mixture has all stick to the chops.
