I'm glad this week turned out better than the last one. You weren't feeling to good about it. This was nicer to hear.

When I am checking the XE website then the USD is even much less of value ... then 20 USD are more likely 27 CAD ... actually 30 USD are 40 CAD according to XE. But at least you compensated it with the tips. Some people also can be still nice and so you can just do an exception. I hope this buddy was someone like that. Business in this week has been terrible at my workplace. Very low business. I am currently working for 2 people because my colleague is on vacation for 3 weeks in Namibia. And this first week was easy peasy for me. I still had some boring time. This is making me already nervous about what's going on ... But I'm knowing it's vacation time over here, now. We've lots of national holidays in May, now. At 5:20 AM it's not this bright over here. But I am happy it's getting brighter earlier and getting dark later - and nature getting full green, now. But weather is still too cold and rainy over here. Glad to hear that work was alright about the income. Is it still better than what to expect when working for your original profession? I am remembering that you was actually a geologist if I'm not having an error in my memory. What are your plans for retirement? I still find it bewildering that you're such close for retirement and I'm thinking you're just like around 10 years older than I ... and then I'm looking at the calender, oh well, in 10 years ... then I'm also 10 years older and very close to retirement. Sometimes time is flying too fast. Still I am feeling way too young to retire (although I could live some more spare time, haha). I bet I'll also think different in 10 years and will thankfully say good bye to my employer. But who knows, maybe I've even to work much longer because life is getting more expensive with every year with our green socialists here.

Well that could have gone better. Yeah, I think the economy is getting worse. People are running out of savings, because everything went way the heck up in price, and their wages stayed the same. I know my food bill is more than doubled. Have you noticed that food went way the hell up, but booze stayed the same? Same with smokes. I find that interesting.

Food jumped upa lot, while booze is slowly climping... Because food costs so much more, it limits the amoiunt of booze I can buy... Smokes have been outrageous since before I quit smoking 15 years ago...
