Words have power. Heal and move. We've all been hurt, beat and bruised. I love Taylor but the likes of her and Rodrigo will keep you ruminating for decades. People make a living off of others pain. I love folklore but that was then and this? is now. Heal and move..... Heal and move. ❤️

Because people expect her to still be in her early 20’s singing only boppy pop tunes 🙄 I personally like her evolution and getting to get a glimpse of the person she’s is now. Her slower songs are always much more intimate and emotional which are my favorite 🫶🏼

She has said she writes about her life sometimes but also makes up stories too that reference scenarios of other people or even people shes made up. Age of Adeline is a movie one of her great friends Blake Lively starred in where she falls through the ice and is STRUCK by lightning at the same time in the 1900's and then stops aging so she ends up BOLTING on all the men she meets until she ends up meeting the one. The references to Blake Lively's character Adeline are too many to name but We have to stop meeting like this and the metaphor for BOLTING. She is a lyrical genius!!❤

except, she makes reference her to her being a bolter in several of her lyrics.. including one of my favourites, Daylight "Maybe I've stormed out of every single room in this town." So, I still think she is referring to herself. As someone who is also a bolter, I can relate to this song so much. She could be talking about that movie and framing her own life around it. For many of us, we see our own life experiences in movies and songs. I believe this is what she is also doing in many of her songs.

See, I was hearing more Getaway Car than OOTW. i.e. town car speeding, escaping, freedom, been many places with men of many faces, hearts are hers for the breaking. There are many parallels that prove to me at least that this album is about many of her relationships just creating through lines. The end saying and now my story isn't mine anymore shows me her era of dating, heartbreak, cheating (both her on others & others on her), holding on to anger and holding torches for old flings is over. I can't wait for TS12 lmao, I know I'm greedy, but I think its going to be an extremely happy, boppy album. Maybe about Travis, maybe not. I'm not sure how much her relationships will play a role in future albums. reputation TV is gonna be interesting interesting lol

this is singer-songwriter at its peak. the kinda song that takes you to another place with AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR. this is utter top notch talent, and it’s a shame many people won’t cherish this art with respect. from the lyrics to the melody to the harmony to the vocal cadences… this is what a top tier song sounds like. ‘taming a bear, making him care’ are y’all hearing the same stuff I am?!? brilliant. ‘she must bolt’ ‘ended with the slam of a door’ ‘it felt like breathing’ this, ladies and gentlemen, is a masterpiece.
